I really want to love this, however, for a beginner, it’s not really beginner friendly. The materials provided are adequate, and are of good quality. However, there is not much instructions on how to use it, unlike other kits I have gotten.

This kit comes with everything needed to begin punch needling. I have never done this before at all so I was nervous I would find it difficult to figure out, but the instructions were clear and precise.Tha materials included are great quality and made my first time w/ this kind of craft easy and fun to learn. The design and colors are true to the listing, as is the size.

I love crafting, and trying out new crafts. I do a lot of cross stitching, but have never tried punch needle crafting before, so thought I would give it a go.I have already had embroidery kits from this company before and they have been very high quality. This is no exception.The hoop was a lot bigger than I expected - 8 inches in diameter, and the kit has everything you need to create a lovely hummingbird picture.The design is already printed on the fabric, so it is easy to follow. It states that a beginner can do the kit in an hour, but I think that is a bit misleading. It is taking me quite a while to work my way through it, but as I say, this is my very first venture into this craft. I am sure you get quicker as you become more experienced.I also found that it was helpful to watch some online videos for beginners in punch needle work as this really helps. There is also a QR code in the kit linking to a video, but you can find many more videos online.All in all, a very affordable kit which has everything you need - perfect for beginners to try out and decide whether this is the craft for you.

Easter gift for granddaughter. All materials needed are in the kit and appear to be good quality.She didn't work on the project as yet and I'm hoping it will be fun for her as she enjoys designing and sewing

This punch needle kit is okay. I will want to supplement this with some online instructions as I had never done this before, but it does include some. You receive what you need to complete it. It would be a nice gift item for someone who loves to do these kits to work on.

I’m a keen crafter, but have never tried punch needle stitching before, so I was thrilled to be able to try this kit. The kit consists of a plastic hoop (designed to hold the aida-type fabric in place, but doubles as a frame for the finished picture), a piece of aida-type fabric with a printed humming bird picture outline on it, a selection of wool colours, a punch needle, a plastic large-eyed needle, a long needle threader, and an instruction sheet ….so everything you need to make the finished image. The kit is aimed at beginners- and theres a qr code on the instruction sheet to scan for a video link. Unfortunately the one thing this kit lacks is the absolute basic skill instructions needed for complete novices like me….the instruction leaflet gives some basic tips ( in tiny writing, if you can read it!), and the video, although useful, just shows the order to stitch the picture in….but what I really needed to know was how the wool was supposed to thread on the needle, and how to produce the first stitches. Having said this, after searching online I found a video tutorial elsewhere, and was able to make my first slightly wobbly stitches-and once I got going, the sewing part is actually surprisingly quick and simple to achieve. All in all, this is a fabulous kit - it contains all the materials you’ll need to complete it -and all are good quality- and the kit enjoyable and very achievable, even for a complete novice, assuming you can find a tutorial for those basics! At £9.99 at time of reviewing, I’d definitely recommend this.
