JT's website says this fits newer klx250's and it does, sort of. The splines are really tight so it will fit on the counter saft but it requires a lot of pressure to put it on unless your countershaft is old and worn. I didn't end up using it because I wanted a proper fit not press fit. I went with a "primary drive 34213". It fit well. I don't know about the quality or longevity but we will see. It also fits the new klx300.

Fit perfect on my KLR250, ended up back with the stock 15t for less revs on road but 14t is slightly better in dirt.

Not a good quality product or just not the proper part . Not wide enough for the nut to tighten down on Only has a flange on 1 side should be on both sides like the oem sprocket or the Sunstar brand witch fit perfectly.

This JTF516 fits the KLR250 whereas JTF512 did not on my application. JTF516 has the smaller inside step like an OEM sprocket so it does not sit against engine case like a JTF512 would. Check it out before buying and make sure you are getting the right one. Machining quality on these is perfect! A true bargain with Prime.
