I bought this for a 1979 kz1000. Fits like a glove and works just fine. I can usually make a pair of these sprockets last 15k miles.

I expected the sprocket to be steel, but from this picture it looks black, It was not black, it was very much silver/ steel. I wish the picture had bee a little better. other than that, it looks fine and fits fine, so no complaints there

I mean it is what it is a sprocket and fit's them old kz's good and solid sprocket will last a good long time
