So, we had our HD TV connected to our stereo via HDMI cable which was wired through the wall out into the garage and then back into the hose receiver for a wireless appearance. A problem emerged when the HDMI cable began to deteriorate which caused intermittent connection issues, so a new solution was needed. Enter J-Tech.Plug the transmitter into the back of the AVR, (and can be seen in the pic.) Then plug the receiver into HDMI input on TV and push the buttons and voila, just like that, the transmitters first blink slowly, looking for a connection, then blink fast once connected and then solid color when sending video.Turn everything off and then bac k on and you do not need to turn transmitters on. They turn themselves on and all just works. One concern that I had was that while the transmitters are not far from each other, in fact they are about 4 feet apart, they are awkwardly situated. The transmitter is next to a brick wall where the TV is, the TV receiver is actually stuffed behind the TV. But no worries, all works well. Finally, the Sales and support were tremendous at J-Tech where I bought directly.

product works and no longer do I have jitter like I did on other 4k wireless extenders. The fan has a bit of a noise but the product is good and works great

We purchased this product back in February. We bought it because of the good reviews that it received on Amazon. I could probably count on one hand the amount of times that we were able to get the units to actually connect with each other. We have to reset each unit several times as well as a DVD player and TV in hopes that they will actually connect. Sometimes we get lucky but most the time we have to watch something on Netflix. For nearly $320, this is a terrible value for a very unreliable product. When it does work the picture quality is great. No delays and sound either. But itβs just frustrating to turn these things on and off and reset them over and over and over for 20 to 30 minutes before we can actually watch a movie.

I guess its fine if you just transmit video. But if you want to use it to show your laptop the mouse movement lag is too much

When it works, it works very nicely. No noticeable latency and good picture. The problem is that it is very unreliable. One day I will turn it on and work great. The next day I will turn it on and it won't connect at all.
