This is a great stiff felt for crafting. The thickness is perfect. I made pirate hats for dolls and doubled up the felt, added a fabric lining. Works up well. Wrinkles a little when turning so I changed the pattern I made so I didn’t have to turn it.

The quality is excellent, I entered these felt pieces into a Christmas craft competition and they performed exactly as I expected. The quality is top notch. We used it on a embroidery machine to make adorable gingerbread style ornaments. They're fantastic, light weight but have enough firmness to hold their shape when hung on the tree.

This is about the thickness of 3-4 sheets of paper which isn't very thick at all. As such it's as not terribly stiff. Will be returning.Edit: accidentally ordered this again years later. Now armed with caliphers I can tell you that the thickness varies from as little as 0.3mm to as much as 1.1mm which the average being around 0.7mm in most places. So in addition to poor quality control most of the time this isn't even 1mm thick.
