I ordered the 2.7 x 2.7 and they are easy to use and show nicely. They are made of a plastic so I'm not sure how well they will hold up but definitely worth the price. I ordered more to give as gifts to my travel group so we can keep shells from all places we visit. I will be ordering the larger ones though. This size is definitely for smaller shells.

I bought this specifically for bones and specimens that we collect during our homeschool science adventures. It worked great! I used for mouse bones, the smaller bones will move around a bit if they are close to larger bones due to the size stretching the material a bit. Size is smaller than I anticipated but it works for us. Great value as you get enough frames for collection purposes.

These frames are really useful as a way to display small treasures. I put sand, beach glass, dried flowers, shells, and/or jingles in mine and created beautiful miniature art. I even painted some to create a background. One suggestion is that it would be wonderful if these frames were larger, such as the sizes of standard picture frames. It would really be a way to create beautiful pieces.

Great little gift to hold coins, shells, and whatever else fits. Wish it had a base or stand feature, so minus one for this compared to other models / brands.
