Pros:One of the biggest pros I find for this is that you can remove the dish without having to remove the entire structure. Others I have used, you need to remove everything and be sure to catch the magnet on the back. For this alone, I would recommend it.Clear so you can see what is going on inside.Easy to clean.Strong magnet. It stays in place.Cons:A little large so measure ahead of time.This could possibly be used for small, climbing reptiles as well.Thought needs to go into what you put in there. Some live food will crawl out of the small dish. But this is not the fault of this unit. If the dish is low enough, food gets out.It does take up some space. It helps that it is clear.I did not use the tweezers. Small. But they are very fine tipped. If you need to grab live food out of a narrow spot, these may get in there. They do not open wide though so maybe escapee meal worms.
