I genuinely like the concept and that it is light weight. However, the sound is extremely low and hard to hear which diminished the quality of the experience.

My 5 year old took it out of my hands as soon as I pulled the paper battery block, and somehow knew how to use it. She did have the bigger mat version for years (which died after the batteries leaked). But an instant connection was made. Excellent!

Purchased for my first grandson who, at 1 year old gave it a lickin' and eventually it stopped ticking BUT that's bc his parents let him throw it around quite a bit... so obviously avoid giving it to little ones who aren't quite ready for it but it definitely provided quite a bit of learning opportunity so in the right little hands it's definitely the right toy! 4 stars!

I brought this product for my three year old grandson and it is awesome. He loves it and can recognize his ABC, letters, and shapes. He sits with me for awhile and we do it together and while driving in the car, he plays it by himself. It is very educational and easy to use. I love the material because it is easy for a toddler to handle. I made a great choice in this purchase.

My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this tablet. I’ve bought so many toys for her that promised to be good but was a big let down. This one really exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect for her. I was also so happy to see a volume button that actually turns up so you can hear it. Some toys have the volume so low you can’t hear what it’s saying. That’s been a big let down and frustration a lot. She would just toss them aside and forget them. I couldn’t blame her it was frustrating. She’s picking this one up regularly and enjoying it. Thank you for really selling this toy as advertised. We love it.

I am excited to put this to work in my practice as an occupational therapist for special needs children. So many kiddos don't know their letters, making it difficult to try to teach them to write them. This item features easy-to-use push buttons that children can press to hear letters of the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. Menu buttons at the bottom feature several modes, such as "Letters", "Spell", "Spelling Quiz", etc. - seven learning modes in all. It even features music. Sound quality is good and there are two volume controls (increase and decrease). This will be an affordable addition to use in my caseload : )

The buying process was easy and I am glad that I was able to pick this up for my daughter. The package arrived quickly and it was packaged well. There was no issues with the tablet when it arrived. There already is batteries in the tablet which was nice and made my daughter so excited because she could immediately play with the tablet right out of the packaging. The tablet does use three double A batteries and there is a white pull-tab in the back you must pull out to begin using the tablet. The tablet has a power button which is so nice and it states hello and goodbye to the child which is a great learning lesson. There also is a volume up and down buttons which is another great tool for us parents. The tablet is perfect for toddlers and kindergarten age kiddos. It has ABC's with Animals, 123's, colors, shapes, and songs. It teaches spelling, counting, and how to locate letter, numbers, symbols, and colors. The entire tablet is wonderful and worth the price. My daughter has dropped it a few times and it has withstood the falling on the hardwood floors, so I was impressed with that as well. I would definitely recommend this table to all of my family and friends and I would buy from Just Smarty over and over again. Their products are amazing, their customer service excels, they are quick with getting products to you, and they really understand a child and how to reach a child in regard to education and fun.
