On one side parts of chain broke and pulled the plastic guard down. On another side the whole chain came off and was lost on the road. Normal driving.

I had the 245 size but same product. They go on really easy but both of mine have damage and one of them is no longer functional. Only was able to successfully use them 1 time.

This product is easy to install. However, the cables do not easily disengage to allow consumers to pull the chains off of the tires. Moreover, we used ours five times and the cable tore through the plastic sheathing. There is information online showing Konig backs its product with a 5-year warranty, but there is nowhere on Konig's site that allows you to file a claim. Overall we loved the chains until they broke, now we are stuck with having to replace them after less than one year.

Exec summary:easy to use, excellent workmanship on product, expensive [about the price of two high quality snow tires], hard to find in US, dicey Int'l Amazon order -- yet, a high value item once you have them.Likes:Pretty easy to install on 19" tires with little clearance to wheel well. Easier than the Thule/Pearless type auto tension chains I've used in the last 10 years, and significantly easier and better performing than old style chains I first encountered in the 1970's. Purchased these Konig chains mainly for my wife - tire chain install is still a knee on the ground and dirty arm sleeve activity but the Konig EasyFit shortens the install time. The total install time [during inclement weather] I average about 5 min now if I'm hustling. Taking the chains off requires a bit more time for me - I made a tool to help grab the chain enough to remove. Performance and traction on snow and ice is as expected from chains. My drive is about a mile long on a slope with intermittent 10 to 15% grades. Previous to this year I've used studded tires on AWD-- they were OK most of the time. Chains -- I can get out anytime.Dislikes:Very hard to find in the US. Ordered through Amazon Int'l and delivery was approx 4 weeks for the -245 model. I ordered a set of the -240 model at the same time [mod-October] and still haven't received that set as of 20 Dec. I fear it's lost, but Amazon insists it's in play and to wait until 22nd --but if no word by then order get's cancelled. Since the -240 model is for my car [245 model is for wife's car] I can work with another style chain and just ordered a set from Pearless through Walmart.com --- and they can deliver to the local brick-n-mortar store for pickup.The Konig Easy FIT are a great set of chains -- no doubt the easiest I've used and very glad to have them, however, they are expensive [but of excellent construction quality so value is high], hard to find in the US, and if my wife decides not to use them herself --- I'll be on the search for something else for her. [e.g. tires with retractable 12 mm stud spikes]. On the other hand --- it's not so bad being snowed/iced in and I can save the money for exceptional single malts . Seriously, I wish these Konig Easy FIT chains were readily available in the US and I'd buy them for any car I might own in the future -- it's the very dicey Int'l Amazon shipping that gives me pause...

I wanted chains because I have all season tires and didn't want to spend a bunch of money on the little snow we get in PA most years. I would recommend getting winter tires to anyone that wants great traction in the colder months. But if you want to get through the snow and ice with ease these are great to buy very easy to install

Bought this last February and didn’t use ut until now... i love Thule Konig brand my last one is a XG Pro from Thule Konig too that’s why i went with this... the chains was loose it’s hitting the inside of my car and was making load noises.... I don’t know if that’s a manufacture defect but i won’t recommend these... my wheel size is 235/65 R18

まだ使っていませんが、女性でも簡単に装着できそうです。ポルシェカイエンにサイズがあう物がスーリーしかないため、選択肢が他になかったのですが、良いです。また、YOUTUBEにも装着動画がアップされており、わかりやすいです。高いですがその分装着が簡単です。
