This is a fabulous timer for the Pomodoro technique! The timer increments of 5, 10, 25, and 50 minutes are standard for use with Pomodoro. The alarm is loud enough to hear while wearing headphones, yet not so loud that it's annoying. I love that the timer allows the user to flip it over for preset timing and set their own time. This timer has a visual display of the remaining time and a ring display for those who like a "pie chart" visual of the remaining time. There is a switch for turning the timer on and off; unlike other timers, this timer doesn't accidentally turn itself on while in a handbag, backpack, desk drawer, etc. I only dislike this timer because there is only an audible alarm.Likes:Easy-to-see displayUser can set their own timeFirm on/off switchLots of use between chargesCompact, takes up little desk space, and fits into a backpack, handbag, etc.Common Pomodoro time presetsDisplay shows time left in numbers as well as with a visual ringSturdy, it can handle being dropped and still worksDislikes:Only has an audible alarmWhile charging, there is no indicator as to when charging is completeI recommend this timer if you need an audible alarm or you would like a Pomodoro timer where you can set your own time.Review edit: I've added a star, because I realized you can set a mute alarm on this product! Now I can use this timer when I need a quiet alarm!

We do a lot of cooking at our house, and over time we have amassed a reasonable collection of various egg timers over the years. As the owner of an Apple Watch, my need for a standalone timer in the kitchen has been greatly reduced, so I was somewhat reluctant to order this device when I saw it on the Vine product listings...But I pulled the trigger and the item arrived a few days ago. I must say that this thing offers a lot more bang for the buck than I was expecting. And despite the fact that I can use my watch for timing the cooking of a meal, I have been choosing to reach for this stand alone digital timer instead. The features all work as advertised and I have found the battery life to be long lasting and more than acceptable. My only real issue with this timer and why I gave it (4) Stars instead of (5) is due to the brightness of the display, which has sometimes proven insufficient for being able to clearly read the display when the kitchen is exposed to a lot of natural light during the afternoon hours. This would obviously not be a problem for a lot of users who don't have a lot of natural light flooding into their kitchen area during the daylight hours.Overall I find this device to be a well designed and unique take on the classic Egg Timer. With a sizable list of time options, custom settings and a super easy to use interface.

Very fun cube! I love this little thing. I love it so much in fact that I designed a 3D printed enclosure for it (which you can find on printables as "KADAMS gravity timer enclosure"). Pictured is the cube in all its glory with the 3D printed enclosure.

I already had a little cube pomodoro timer, but it had challenging controls (I could never remember which side of the back panel with the controls was “up”; and there were two switches, one on each side). This new timer only has one switch, so even though the writing on the buttons is a bit challenging to read (same color as the buttons), you don’t really need to read the buttons. The operation of this timer is extremely simple. Turn the face of the timer up that has the number of minutes you want to set. Turn the digital display up to pause the timer or down to reset it. The digital display shows an active countdown around the rim of the circular display, for a nice visual snapshot view of how much time remains (in addition to the minutes and seconds countdown). One can also set custom times (if the stated 5, 10, 25, 50 minutes don’t fit ones needs), but I wasn’t looking for that. It’s also possible to turn off the audible alarm by holding the bottom button down for a few seconds, but I prefer the audible alarm on.Recharges via usb-c cable (included).

The timer cube is a great productivity timer as it's not distracting and it's quick/easy to set up. I've used a kitchen timer and phone timers, but I like the "no fuss" way of setting the timer to minimize distractions or context switches. The screen is clear and straightforward, showing how much time is left, and there's a dial that gives you a rough idea of elapsed or remaining time. The screen isn’t overly bright, so it’s not distracting. The timer selection is surprisingly reliable; it gets the right timer even if you're flipping it around fast or throwing it up in the air. It has a custom timer feature, which is great, but the downside is that it forgets your custom setting if you turn the cube off and back on. Kind of annoying, but this was advertised. You can set one custom timer per "side"; as an example, you can set a customer timer for 25min side for 30 mins and a custom timer for the 10min side for 15 mins and they won't interfere with each other.By default, it beeps when the timer changes, pauses, or resets, which is helpful to confirm it's working. You can mute the beep if you want, but it doesn’t save that setting after you power-cycle the cube. Also kind of annoying. You can keep using it while it’s charging, which is very nice; no more stressing over a drained battery mid-task. It lasted me through 10 full 10-hour workdays without needing to be plugged in.
