Im new to this keyboard thing and so I just keep trying various switches. These seem pretty ok. I don't know what else to say at this point. I still have a hard time really feeling the subtle differences in switches.

These are very nice linear switches, but I'm not ready to jump ship and fully commit. They don't really feel all that different from my red pros. I do like how the included diffuser spreads the RGB, but that's where it stops for me. They are definitely good, but not good enough for me to buy more and fully commit to doing my whole board.

I recently tried these switches, and I’d say they’re a solid option for the price considering the quantity you get. They have a light actuation force, which makes them easy to press without feeling overly light, so I can type without worrying about too many accidental key presses. That said, the sound is a bit unusual. It’s not thocky, which I usually prefer, but more of a clacky sound that’s not quite as satisfying as I hoped. I even tested them on different boards, but the sound remained the same. On the bright side, they’re not loud, so they won’t disturb people around you.I’m still looking for the perfect board to pair them with, as I feel that might make a difference. However, if you’re really after a switch with a satisfying sound, I’d suggest going for the Kailh Box Dark Chocolate linear switches. They have a poppy and loud sound that’s distinct, but not obnoxious, making them a more enjoyable option for those focused on acoustics.

I like these switches. They feel smoother than the Gateron milky yellows. No scratchiness and no lubing needed, tho when I opened it, there was little to no lube on the springs. The housing is very tight so I won't need to film them. No housing wobble, minimal stem wobble. Pops in/out of pcb with no issues. Arrived with no bent pins. I'm still new to this hobby. These are my first Kailhs of the 20 or so switches I've tried; they're such a nice quality that I'm now planning to try more.I tried this on 2 keyboards (plastic and aluminum cases), and It had a poppier sound than the other switches (Gateron pro black V3 and Yunzii crystal white). I have o-rings on all my keycaps to dampen any sound. So the "pop" is a little louder than I wanted (just personal preference). Also, these are taller than my other switches. Not a big deal unless you like to have mix switches on your board.Note on lighting/RGB:Because of the all-black housing, light only comes through the LED slot. But once the keycaps are on, the difference is barely noticeable. I really like the diffuser since any light coming thru is more even and less harsh. This is more noticeable to me since the lighting seems even all across the keyboard rather than seeing super bright spots, especially in gaps between keys.

This Mciepny Kailh Box Dark Chocolate Linear Keyboard Switches are very nice linear key switches.I like how they feel and how they sound.A little bit more resistance than standard red switches, which is to be expected. If you like linear switches, these are very nice.

deducting a star for no lube. I took one apart to check for lube. I saw no signs of lube. they are still very smooth and so I don't think I'll take the time to lube them.

These switches, while look nice, are not what was expected for a linear switch. The springs feel much lighter than what's advertised. I have another keyboard with the same spec switches, but from a different vender and no RGB that have a very different feel. Also, the RGB light guide limits the type of light-compatible switches you can use.I can describe the feel of these switches to be similar to very cheap mechanical keyboards of the early 90's; clones of a good keyboard switch, but made to be cost effective.

Nice handy Kailh switches. They have a distinct box shaped stem that made them distinct during the mechanical keyboard craze. My order comes with ten switches neatly packed in a small package. They have a dark coloration that is almost brown, reflective of the dark chocolate naming, and feature a five-pin design for a more sturdy installation. It is measured at about 55 grams of force for the actuation, which is not super heavy but not particularly light either. A neat feature is the long spring, which provides a more robust return, which in combination with the POM housing and stem provide a great linear action. It also has a great sound that is light and has little to no spring ping.Pretty happy with these overall. I'd definitely use them with my hitbox.
