The ukulele I was shipped buzzed at the 2nd and 3rd frets, which rendered it unplayable. I had bought it "new," but there were clear signs it was used, namely the tags weren't attached to the instrument and the inner box had a big tear. Very disappointing, as the size and tone of the instrument was exactly what I was looking for.

I give it a 9/10 stars... The first instrument I played was my Dad's Martin soprano uke followed by his baritone... I loved them and I played classical guitar in college and have always enjoyed playing. I wanted something with the sound of the guitar but not the size... This is a great instrument to start with as it is tuned as the upper 4 strings of a guitar, D-G-B-E... It had one flaw is the 1st 2 frets of the D-string twang a bit.
