These are great over my dogs' runs when it's sunny. When it rains the rain tends to collect in the center of the fabric and has to be dumped every few hours. We've set them up a few different ways with improvement but no full solution yet. I'm sure it's partially user error but it'd be nice if the product came with hooks to use as tie downs

The Sun Shade Sail is large! Pay attention to the dimensions you order. It is definitely high quality material and will definitely provide shade. The material is durable and thick! I was going to use it as a cover for my chicken coop to protect from predators; however, it is really good at blocking out the sun! Too good! Lol. My chickens need some sunlight for their health and the plants in their run need sunlight as well. So, while this product is definitely GREAT at providing shade, it was not what I needed.

I have a lot of sun sails for our various animals at the farm here. This sun sail is a little thinner/lighter weight than others I've tried, but the material still feels supple and of good quality. The stitching is good and the d rings look good with very secure/well attached corners.It does come with rope, but my experience with this type of rope is that it degrades in the UV within a season. In my experience the rope that comes with almost all such products is pretty much this same quality.Time will tell as to how long this sun sail lasts, but I think we should get atleast 1-2 seasons out of it, in full sun. I will update if we experience any durability issues throughout its regular use this summer.

This waterproof shade canopy is fantastic. I've taken this camping three times and have used it for both shade and a rain canopy. We had a full weekend of rain and had no issues sitting under this canopy without getting wet, and it provides an ideal amount of shade considering the size you go with. To install, we used hammock straps wrapped around trees and attached them to each end of the canopy. Considering that setup, it's easy to install and provides a nice touch to our campsite. The canopy is high quality, and I can see this lasting for years.

I’m really liking this sail after installing. This particular one is waterproof which was unexpected and pretty awesome. The color is great and I can only hope that the sun wont bleach it over time.What I will say is be sure you use proper hardware to install it because it needs to be taut so that the wind doesn’t have the opportunity to wreck havoc on it. This shade is awesome for our outdoor activities. It was easy to put up, and gave ample shade to our fair skinned family members. We used it with stakes in the yard but it could be attached to the side of the house as well. The color and size are nice too.We will be using this on our next Campout for a cool space to rest.

From what I've learned, you can't just throw a sun sail up. The anchoring points need to have high points & low points so the water doesn't pool on top & is more resistant to wind. You do not want the sun sail flapping in the wind. This can be trial & error where tightening adjustments may be required accordingly. Having said that, I find this sun sail fabric sturdy enough. The color is nice as it keeps it bright enough giving a more beachy vibe.

I installed this over part of my back deck and back door since it likes to pour right at the door when it’s raining…this worked like a charm. I used round head screws and installed 2 on the house and 2 on the deck railing and it not rains off of this cover and into the garden, score! The cover came with metal circles attached and rope so that was much appreciated that it included pretty much everything I needed to install. It’s durable and has held up through a couple rainstorms already. The material is pretty thick and much more attractive than a tarp. I wish the color was dark just because the beige does stand out against my blue house but it serves its purpose and that’s the biggest thing!

I own a couple of sunshades over the years and really like having them around my property. This one I am going to set up for my dog as she is always hot. This Kalinco sunshade is also rainproof which my other ones are not. This is a lighter gage of fabric in comparison but I paid over $75 CDN for my other shades and this one is $32.99 CDN . It is a great bargain.

The quality of the sail feels really good as do the D-ring attachments. I can see it standing up well to wind and weather for a long time. The material is thin but appears to be quite durable. I prefer that as it reduces weight and reduces strain on the anchor points. Also, for a 10x10 sail, this is a really reasonable price.Overall, I'm happy with the quality and I have no trouble recommending this sail.

Wow, is this rugged! We attached this shade sail to our existing patio and the installation was easy. We got it to create a play area for the little ones and the generous size allows for that.We have storms where the wind gets incredibly strong, so I was worried that would mean eventual tears in the sail fabric.We’ve been through numerous windstorms now. No sign of wear or tear at all.As for how much sun it blocks, it’s hard to say. We live in the US desert southwest and the sun is intense, so even on the patio with its solid roof, the area is still bright due to light bouncing off of surrounding surfaces.That said, it does block a tremendous amount of light and makes the light that does come through diffuse. It definitely helps keep things cooler too. It works better than expected! Very happy we got it.

New backyard has 0 shade and faces the west. It was almost impossible to sit in the backyard in the evening times. This shade was what I needed to help cover out some of the sunlight and be able to enjoy the backyard. I wish the installation kit came included, but otherwise 5/5!
