Good sized kibble. Nutritious. Per orders of equine vet, mix it w/ 1cup each of corn oil & unsweetened applesauce. My retired race horse rescue is doing well.

My dear old horse took a fall and could not get himself up for the very first time. Sigh* It was heartbreaking watching him struggle and seeing his exhaustion. The vet came and it took 4 of us, but we turned him over and massaged him and got him to get up. But after that incident, he never did return to his pre-fall diet. He would not touch any of his oats or senior feed, and I thought I was going to lose him.The equine nutritionist at Kalmbach Feeds called me after I sent an email inquiry about their feed. I ordered the Tribute Maturity Textured and the Special K vitamin supplement.He ate it up! Loves it! These people at Kalmbach know their stuff and they have done the research. I am one hundred percent confident in their products and research. I am certain their feed products are the only reason my beautiful old horse has recovered so well.
