Replace with a new one band drum brake is a great decision.

Kids ride theirs so much, Brake can quickly become damaged,

and replacing them with new ones can make children's riding more enjoyable.

Picked up a used E200 and the rear brake was beat to death and missing a few screws. This kit was the perfect replacement, basically a drop in. After a few minutes work, I had a nice new rear brake to keep me safe.

This is best used in conjunction with front brakes. That becomes more and more true the heavier the rider. If the rider is under 60 pounds and the scooter or whatever is tiny, this is generally enough. More than that, and it will absolutely overheat. I have disc brakes on the front of the scooter, and that helps dramatically. If you've installed these kind of brakes before, then you already know how to install these. It's not difficult. If you don't know what you're doing, just go watch a video on it. It's not something that requires a mechanical genius.
