Great value--much more durable than other similar boots I've bought. The string fastener at the top does not prevent all sorts of stuff (like chainsaw shavings) from getting into the liner, where they are difficult to remove.

Finally, one boot to rule them all. Just as warm as high end arctic muck boots but when the liner blows out you can just replace them. Unlike the muck’s where once the heel wears out they’re shot. Still made in North America and have great traction. 1/3 the price of Chinese made boots is a no brainer. Im sold aslong as they stay made in a cold place like Canada.

Boots just came in today, I bought them for outdoor forestry and farm work to replace my Muck chore boots after they started leaking water and falling apart after 6 years of service. Wanted to try something different and these caught my eye.I like that they have a removable liner but I do wish it was wool instead of synthetic. I tried wearing them without the liner but they don’t fit right so the liner is essential for the fit; which is fine for me because where I am if it’s wet enough to need these it’s probably cold too.I have wide feet and these boots were rather tight when I first put them on but after wearing them for 6 hours or so working outside they seemed to have broken in pretty well and aren’t near as tight. Comfortable enough to wear for a bit to ensure feet stay dry and warm but a little tighter than my old muck boots. All in all I’m happy with my purchase. They kept my feet warm and dry today, and think they’re a pretty good deal for the price. Made in North America, with a bit of sustainability in mind it seems. I hope that they will hold up for multiple winter/wet seasons like my old muck boots did.. only time will tell, will update

Kamik Icebreaker boots arrived today. Was worried about the size based on the reviews I read. So I measured my foot and it was 11 inches from heel to toe. So that's what I purchased, size 11. Tell ya the truth, they fit great right out of the box. A little loose in the heel but good toe room. Very comfortable and seem to have some arch support. Very easy to slip on and off. Would definitely purchase again.

I've been using these boots for years now for hiking in the wet winter woods in Washington. Little snow , lots of rain. I've tried gore-tex hiking boots but water eventually makes it's way through every time. These boots are the only solution to keeping my feet warm and dry in the rainy woods with puddles, creeks, mud and wet foliage that I have found. They feel like slippers and don't rub my heels. I can comfortably walk for miles in them and the tread is reasonably good. Not as good as the best hikers but certainly good enough. I really like the removable liners and cuff at the top, it goes a long way for keeping the warmth in and the water out For the price I give them five stars for design and performance. However they are not long term durable. I have to repurchase every one to two years because the liners wear out pretty fast in the heels. you can buy new liners but they're almost half the price of the boots and honestly with hiking socks I don't even notice the heels worn out and have used them for a year like that without damaging my socks or noticing while I'm walking. If they made these in a heavier version I would probably pay more for it but even the more expensive performance rubber boots don't have this easy slip on design with room to breathe, that's probably why my feet stay so warm and comfortable in these. I actually order a size down from what I normally wear and it's a little snug feeling on the sides for a few days then perfect fit after that, no problem with toe room.

Excelentes botas para el frío (están forradas para la nieve por dentro) y para el agua. Al ser de plástico/hule, son 100% impermeables.

Great boots. I spent 3 weeks living in Zanskar including a return trip via the Chadar ice highway.. the tread is not as deep as the Viking Boots but I liked having the removable felt inner, which could be dried easily after a sweaty day.

I AGREE with other reviewers - THESE BOOTS RUN A LITTLE LARGE IN THE TOE.- MAYBE A HALF SIZE LARGER THAN MY NIKES BASKETBALL SHOES.THESE BOOTS ARE NOT TOO WIDE ON MY FEET....if anything I would say these boots are close to regular NIKE WIDTH..IF YOU HAVE WIDE FEET THESE MAY NOT FIT YOU.if you have Regular - to - Narrow feet these boots will fit.I am a man with small and some what narrow feet. NIKE basketball shoes are what I prefer to wear. I buy them right off the shelf because they tend to run narrow in my opinion.I wear 8 1/2 size nikes (euro size 42).I prefer to wear my nike basketball shoes with NO SOCKS or with VERY THIN SOCKS. I usually now shop for shoes using the european size 42. Based on the reviews I read here on amazon about the KAMIK ICEBREAKER COLD WEATHER BOOTS - I purchased a size 8 (euro size 41)....because these boots on amazon do not come in half sizes.MY NEW KAMIK SIZE 8 (EURO 41) Icebreaker cold weather boots FIT ME WELL WITHOUT SOCKS OR WITH VERY THIN SOCKS -I agree with some of the other reviewers - these boots run slightly large. If you are USUALLY A HALF SIZE FIT i.e. ( 8.1/2, 9.1/2, 10.1/2)I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO GO WITH THE HALF SIZE LOWER. (so guys and gals who wear size 9.1/2 buy size 9. )if you wear euro size 42 buy 41.HOWEVER THESE BOOTS ON AMAZON DO NOT COME IN HALF SIZES......SO IF YOU ARE NORMALLY WEARING AN 8 or 9 you may want to buy your regular size figuring a full size down maybe too small.buying shoes over the internet seems a little tricky but they do offer returns....REGARDING THE COLOR - these boots are a little darker green and the sole a little dark brown than pictured on Amazon but are close enough for me.it is current about 60 degrees and these boots are very warm - almost too warm.... I can not say how warm they are in the snow or ice yet.GOOD LUCK!
