Kamui 1.21b "Beta" Chalk is the newest formula direct from Kamui. This chalk is constructed with finer particles than your standard chalks. They are designed to maximize friction and offer a larger "sweet spot," which generates more spin to the cue ball. The added friction reduces slipping, miscues, and deflection. The end result: Your English Game Will Be Better Than Ever. Considered The Best Chalk On The Market. 36% Larger! The first Kamui chalk to be the same larger size as other standard chalks. Harder Compound = Improved Longevity. Reduced Compound Transfer To The Cue Ball.Non-Abrasive. Increased Friction. Tear-Off Label Layers. Coats Evenly. Less Miscues. Longer Play Between Chalking. We are an Authorized Kamui Dealer. All of our Kamui products come directly from Kamui and are kept in a climate and humidity controlled environment. All Kamui Products are Guaranteed Authentic, Original and have never been tampered with or modified.

Would NEVER buy again, unless I want to eat and drink chalk in my food at the pool hall. I gave this $30+ chalk away to a friend who seemed to like it, and ordered my regular Taom V10 which is superior to the Kamui 1.21b in every way. Problem is (at least in a dry climate like Denver) it gets everywhere, all over my 18k gold cufflinks and cuffs, hands, and the table looks like I was drawing art on the pool table. How messy... I am still finding chalk all over, on my desk at home, my organic towels etc.Any perceived bonus of this chalk is only in the mind of an amateur banger who knows nothing about pool, given the top 5 best players in the world all use Masters, and I find Masters quite fine and better than this Kamui chalk. Also remember chalk is just a handicap because your stroke sucks, but I'd your stroke was perfect you wouldn't need chalk in the first place (which I routinely shoot without chalk to really focus on on my stroke). (PS the photo is after I put soap and started washing my hands...in other words it was much more chalk on my hands).

This chalk goes on great and lasts several shots, I have been getting great action on the ball with this chalk. But it goes on like lipstick and sticks to the balls and gets all over the felt. It’s causing a lot of throw and can affect the game. If you clean your balls a lot or play at a pool hall that does then it might not be as big of a problem but for $30 it isn’t worth it. I much prefer predator chalk.

Wasn’t 100% sure if the chalk would be worth it..... it’s great, super fine!!!! The only negative, is it’s so fine it gets all over your hands after long play

There's nothing on the market as smooth as the .98The 1.21 is slightly more gritty. The new Roku 6 is even harder imo that I can tell. Only had it for a few weeks now. I love the .98 best and have used it with a Kamui original super soft. Best combo to date. The 1.21 is really good chalk too. I like them both really but gravitate towards the pastel like .98I play avg 15 hours a week. Sometimes 30hrs and sometimes just 5hrs for league night. I can assure you I over chalk even with Kamui. I always chalk before extreme drawshots or English etc. The cube still last a year. I used one in 2 years and one in a year easy. Best on the market. Win a tournament and spend the money. If price has you crying you aren't good enough to play tournaments. It's free for me. Free money gets me my favorite chalk.

I have used it for two weeks. I have noticed that I get a little more grip on the cue ball which takes time to get used to for position play. Most of the time, I will chalk my cue once per game with the Kamui chalk. When I come to a critical shot that requires extreme english, I will rechalk. Overall, I like the chalk. It takes some adjustment to not chalk after every shot.

Works as advertised. Compared to a garden variety Masters chalk, this feels like you're putting fine wet clay on the tip. That is, It has a much silkier feel when applying.Tons of grip especially on a clean ball and new cloth. It puts on same amount of english as a basic Masters chalk, but with less effort. This can be useful for situations when you're more accurate at slow-medium speed shots. However, it will magnify imperfections in your stroke if you don't hit the CB dead center resulting in unwanted induced throw.I use the Kamui Gator Grip to condition my dime shaped Water Buffalo tip, and with that I can get about 7-10 "good" english shots before having to re-chalk.

Very different from the ordinary chalk you see on the tables. WARNING: It does increase the "grip" of your tip on that cue ball. You will take a few shots to get used to that, even when there is very little english or downward angle to your stroke. You'll get draw or stop when you didn't expect it at first. And it lasts. If you've been chalking after ever shot or every 3rd or 4th shot ... no more. You will find you only need to chalk every other RACK or so. Great value for the money. And great improvement to the stickiness of the tip to the cue ball. Also an added bonus. It's cleaner to use. Very little residual chalk all over things. Thanks for this chalk!
