I bought 4 of these for our kids, this thing is horrible ,none of the 4 kids could get it to work, even adults struggled to make it work ,and what's worse? Even after it works it is such low strength that it was nothing exciting for any of the kids , no one looked at it after the initial use, not even once

So you get a set of 2 which any kid would love.very simple to use. I'm not a fan of the tiny eye hole as even the kids seemed to have a hard time seeing .not from the zoom in and out either it's the actual size of the hole which is very small to see an item. It's got a tiny bright enough light which requires batteries .they dont provide the batteries so I had to go get some. Not bad in a pinch it's a lightweight plastic so not made with anything that makes it very stable. Also the battery compartment was annoying to get open because of arthritic hands and having to squeeze the sides of the microscope to get the battery top to pop off and didnt work for a bit. was very frustrating

These are pretty simple little microscopes. I took the one out of the box to try to use it and realized quickly it needed batteries. You will need to use two AAA batteries to get the light to work. After doing that I attempted to look at a few things under it and I just can’t see anything other than blur. I’ve tried messing with the dials and everything but to no avail. I wish I could give it a better review but even the instructions are terrible.Update: I told my husband I was having trouble and he showed me how to get it to work so I wanted to correct my saying it’s just blurry because it’s not now that I can see how you have to use it. Basically you’re going to have to get super close to anything you’re looking at but it does work. It would be awesome if I could take pictures with it though. Not bad for the price at all.
