Nice quality and very resistant. Allows a great peripheral view. It's totally adjustable, however you'll need to practice with it a few times before you find the right fit. It can be a little uncomfortable at first.

When I saw the listing for this KEDAO Karate Mask Headgear, I immediately placed an order because the design intrigued me so much!At the risk of showing my age, I remember back when Master Jhoon Rhee marketed the first foam padded safety equipment for sparring in Sport Karate. Later, the first headgear was modeled along the lines of the old amateur boxing headgear but with lighter weight and slightly thinner foam (because full contact wasn’t permitted in Sport Karate at the time). Shortly after, plastic face guards were added to the existing designs to further protect the fighter from injury, especially among kids.These headgears, while top of the line at the time, all have a common drawback… Due to their design, they somewhat limit peripheral vision, sometimes making it harder to see, avoid and /or block attacks.This KEDAO headgear brings protection for the head and face into the space age. It has strategically placed foam padding and Velcro straps that make it fully adjustable for kids and adults.Though KEDAO doesn’t mention it, I notice that the padding of this headgear has 2 stages. The outer level is denser EVA-type foam while the inner padding that’s actually in contact with your head is softer. The super wide angle polycarbonate face guard is permanently attached, strong and tough.This protective headgear doesn’t slide on and off like the current models. It may take a while for individuals to get used to adjusting it when putting it on for that custom fit. And kids will probably need more assistance from parents, coaches or instructors to fit it right. But it’s definitely worth it!In my humble opinion, coming from decades of martial arts training, this KEDAO Karate Mask Headgear is the future of head and face protection for Sport Karate and Tae Kwon Do. I wholly recommend it with 5 STARS.
