Used this timer soon after I got it and eggs came out perfect and matched the cooked status of the timer. We cook a half dozen eggs at a time and all the eggs were cooked evenly.

Ya tenía anteriormente este tipo de "huevos". Los encontré por primera vez en Inglaterra, pero se terminó estropeando con el paso del tiempo y al buscarlo en amazon descubrí que estaban. Diría que funcionan exactamente igual. No es complicado de usar y tiene como ventaja que no tienes que estar calculando tiempos. Simplemente miras y según la línea que esté te haces una idea de cómo estarán los huevos

good timer. use eggs that you have kept in the frig for 2-3 weeks for best results. rinse in cold water as soon as eggs are done.

It's so simple yet so effective! My first egg timer, bought from Safeway about 10 years ago finally broke. The seal started leaking and it wasn't effective anymore. I knew I cannot be without it. After searching Amazon you can imagine my surprise when I found exactly the same product that I loved.This package comes with 2 "eggs" so your friend can have one as well. The price is very good as I paid for my original one about $9 so long ago. $10.99 for 2 it's a good deal.To use it, nothing can be easier!Get your pan with cold water, put the eggs that you want to boil inside and your egg timer. Set on stove and just watch your egg timer change colour. My first picture shows the timer when it's not used, second picture as you see there is a bright yellow line that develops from the edge towards the middle. The longer you leave it in hot water the wider the yellow line becomes until it fills the whole "egg". Once the bright yellow line reaches your desired consistency (soft, medium or hard) remove the eggs from the boiling water then transfer them to cold water. Wait couple of minutes, then enjoy! The eggs are perfectly done! No more complaining about eggs good for drinking not eating! Very easy to use, very accurate and stress free - I love my egg timer!
