What can you say about a UV filter. You really just want it to be there and not actually affect anything about your shots. And as far as I can tell, that is what this does. One thing I appreciate is that it came out of the package perfectly clean. Sometimes I have received filters from other brands and they are actually a little hazy and need to be buffed and blown off before I can screw them on. Also, it screwed on really smoothly. It is also really low profile.A water droplet beads up nicely, so I know the coating is there. And if I intentionally add a fingerprint, it wipes off super easy with the microfiber cloth. Time will tell how long it lasts, but I feel that Kase is a high-quality brand and this is a well-engineered filter. I hope to never test how hard the glass is but it gives me peace of mind to have a UV filter on all my expensive lenses.

This is a pretty good quality UV filter. I tested it with a tripod to check for sharpness, and I didn't see much if any difference between photos with it equipped and not. Some cheaper filters do cause a bit of loss in sharpness, so this one does seem to be higher quality.

Well made metal threaded camera filter. The threads are good and screw onto a lens without issue. The glass appears clean and clear. I took a few test shots and do not see any distortion.

You get what you pay for here. Top notch glass. The filtering itself is great as well. Pics show a very clear difference.

Some people do not believe in using UV filter for lens protection, I on the other hand, always put on a filter in front of the lens from day one. As whether the filter will degrade the image quality, without pixel peeping the details, the filter does not have notable effect on the images and that is what I want.In terms of ring thickness, it is not the slimmest nor the thickness filters I own and it, but the thickness should not be an issue as I have test on a 16-25mm zoom lens without issues.

Picked this UV Filter lens for one of my lenses. I normally do a quick test with a UV flashlight to see if this really cuts the UV light. Sure enough it does. I installed this filter with my 50mm lens and it keeps the image sharp without affecting any color shifts. Price was good and this is very thin compared to some of the other UV filter lenses out there.

As an avid nature photographer I have tried many products over the years. This was a brand I was unfamiliar with. I'm not really a lens filter type of guy as I use pretty expensive lenses with quality glass and always use a lens hood. However, I decided to give this moderately priced UV lens filter a try on my 24-105L lens.Well it is a very nice lens filter. It looks great, fits great, and works great. It does not negate any noticeable image quality. Feels very high quality which is noticeable right away with packaging, case, and filter. It's definitely a keeper. Price was moderate but feels more of a value than some others. An easy 5 stars. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality UV lens filter.

As always, check the filter thread size.I debated which of my lenses would require a UV filter, and I ended up choosing my Sony 85mm f/1.8 lens with a 67mm filter thread. This filter fit well, no problem. My only concern is when it comes to cleaning. After applying the filter, I found a noticeable amount of dust on the filter. The only solution to this would be to put the lens cap on as soon as possible. Perhaps my room is just very dusty.Anyways, what I also like is that I'm able to place the lens cap and lens hood even with the filter on the lens. It can stay on the lens without being annoying at all. This filter gets a thumbs up from me.
