THIS PRODUCT IS NOT NEW. the battery is bent at the sides and has no glue. The seller does not say that his product is used and of second quality. The battery does not hold charge for a long time and the charging time is long. It was a waste of money

Received this item in a soft package and it was bent in half. The battery also looks used. The glue was on the back and the ribbon was broken. Tested the battery with my meter just to see and it's also drained beyond recharge. Stay away.

Fit and works as promised. BUT a lot of work to get it installed. And I cracked the digitizer screen in the process and had to replace it. Screen is a pain. I am not sure I would tackle this again, when for about $100 you can have it done.

Bought this to replace the batter in the 1st generation iPAD mini.I used the instructions on ifixit.com. It requires patience and some free time. Don't expect to do this right before bed. They do an excellent job in providing you a complete break-down.ONE-MONTH LATER -Awesome battery! I can almost swear it works better than the original.THE BAD PART -The shipping was ridiculously slow! It took my battery over a month to arrive. Why? It's coming from China. I hope you've got time on your hands? It's gonna be a while.
