This is an excellent thread organizer. It’s a two-sided organizer and gives you plenty of space. The individual slots fit the Gutermann Mara spools of 765 yards perfectly and any other standard spool of thread such as Coats and Clark. There is also one larger compartment on each side for any larger item you want to store, such as seam gauges, scissors, thread snips, etc. It’s the perfect way to store all your various threads neatly, and the transparent case makes it easy to see exactly what you need. It’s a great organizer for your sewing needs.

I actually got this to hold and organize my nail polish! It works great for small bottles and im sure it can organize other things besides threads. Its a multi usage product. Quality is good and sturdy. Has a handle at the top for easy usage too. Very happy with this product.

Re-organize a classroom set of thread and this has been wonderful! Due to limited storage, this really helps give me more options. I’m very satisfied!

I love this thread box! I had an awkward display before that took up space, but with this I can see all of my threads at a glance *and* store them away without any fuss. The latches are all good quality with no deformities or difficulties opening and closing, and the spools are all kept nice and cozy and separate. They latch nice and securely too, so very little worry of them breaking open if you have to move them around. It fits the common "coats and clarke" style spools as well as the ones displayed in the photo. If you have a moderate collection of thread that needs organizing this can help, I love mine and love my increased tabletop space too.

The semi-transparent plastic shows the color of the thread without opening the case. I love that the case opens on both sides. Much easier to see when all the spools are visible. The spaces are large enough to hold several small spools. I could even load the spools upright, but decided seeing the color was more important and ended up with the spools laying down.Very pleased with this order!

I ordered the "KASTUN Thread Organizer,Double Sided Thread Holder,46 Grids Sewing Thread Organizer,Portable Transparent Thread Storage Case for Sewing Threads and Embroidery,Store Thread Spools."This is a decent little thread holder.Pros: Easy to see what you have. Can store the bobbin with the thread. Handle. Feels like it will survive a little rough handling. The cut outs on the walls allow you to grab the thread easier.Cons: Doesn't fit some thread types (like the ones with a larger base.) Each section isn't adjustable. The cutouts mean you can't use this box to organize small notions like buttons, sequins, or hooks or the moment you flip the box over they'll move around between sections.

This is a convenient way to store threads. I have one of those spool racks on the back of a closet door, but I got this because the thread I keep on the spool rack is strictly for the embroidery sewing machine and I wanted to keep my "regular" thread separate. If you have a nail polish organizer, this works the same way. I like that you can see the threads and I suppose if you wanted to put bobbins in the case, you could do that. There's a double-wide space for notions, but matching bobbins would fit.I like everything about this except the price. It's a personal peeve about the cost of plastic organizers in general. The material costs somewhere around a dollar a pound, so $20 is a high price for this. If you can afford it, it's a very nice way to organize your thread, keep it clean and be able to find the color you need immediately.

Well. I had to laugh when I opened this item b/c it looks virtually identical to something I got to hold nail polish bottles. That said, it serves its stated purpose (thread spool holder) quite well. There's room for plenty of spools, with a few longer slots for tools (snippers, seam ripper, etc). You could probably fit bobbins in there, too, though I'd be concerned they'd roll around & come undone. Its pretty sturdy & the clasps seem like they'll hold with normal use. It's easy to see which one you need, the colours are only slightly muted through the plastic. I was sick of having to figure out which of my myriad boxes I'd find *the* thread I wanted right then and this helps considerably. For an advertised price of $20 it's a deal for me and I've seen coupons available. And hey, if I get tired of sewing, I'll just fill it with nail polish!
