Literally spent hours trying to install. 2007 4runner 4.0L. Would spend an hour or so and take a day off then go back to it and still couldn't install. Its been weeks, I purchased this last winter tried for a while and gave up till summer, been at it for a few days now and it finally broke off the power cable. Its useless now. Oh well, just be warned it may not fit your application as it should. Bummer.*update* 2 September 2020I ordered the oem block heater from Toyota Canada it ran $75 and fit like a glove. Literally no issues at all.

cartridge was not a good fit for my 2011 tacoma. took a lot of grinding, filing and test fitting to get it right. hope it doesn't seize in the hole.

This fit into a Toyota Corolla 2001 it was fairly easy to install, once I found the port it belongs in. It warmed the motor in the cold Alaskan winter, I've only had it for one season so far and I recommend it.
