The designs are flat on flat wood pieces. The wood is thick and the tombstones stand up on their own. There is very little contrast on a lot of the pieces and it is hard to tell what the design is on them and you can't make out some of the writing (because they are really dark with little contrast). The contrast is good on the lighter colored pieces. Some of them are printed off center, but it's not too bad. If you realized they are flat wood, then you probably won't be disappointed; but if you thought they are 3D resin pieces, then you will be extremely disappointed.

These are the perfect size for my village and fit perfectly with the little fence I got to put around them. They're very creepy, have a little bit of weight to them so they don't fall over super easy. Love them!
