Customize the amount of air moved and the look of your fan with 8 different lengths of downrods available in any current finish. This 24 in. downrod is best for ceilings that are 12 ft. high. If your ceiling fan has a light kit, reduce the length of the downrod by 12 in. The current Emerson Ceiling Fan line will be re-branded as kathy ireland HOME. While the name will change, we want to reassure our customers that the product and our core values remain the same.

If you need one for your ceiling it does exactly what it is supposed to. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it feels expensive for what is essentially a metal pipe, especially considering the already high cost of emerson fans

Perfect addition to hang my fan on a vaulted ceiling. Necessary too. In hindsight, I would have gone with one size smaller, as my room isn't that big and the fan is HUGE so if it were up higher it might feel less oppressive. Easy install.Just make sure you get the right finish for the rod so it matches the fan.

I just install this on a 54 inch Emerson fan without any problems. The part fit perfectly and was easy to install.
