I bought this to replace a cheap plastic universal switch I picked up, the machining quality on the housing is so much better, and the biggest problem with plastic housings is the screws can strip easy. The housing on this product though is exactly what I wanted, the only potential issue is the wire gage seems to be a little small compared to OEM, this should be fine as long as you aren't running high current into it. Fits Gen 2 SV650 with some custom soldering.

I was hoping that this switch would replace the old, chrome box-type, stock switch on my 1978 Puch Maxi moped but unfortunately, it will NOT fit. The rear/back side of this switch presses right up against the brake light switch connector and there is no room to make any adjustments to make it fit either. I'm sure that this switch will work out in other applications but it will not work on my bike. This switch looks like it was made very well and it's in a metal housing. It should work well on other bikes but not on Puch Maxi mopeds. Returning it.

For $9, it's hard to beat this product. The turn signal switch is not one that auto centers that and that you need to push inward to cancel. They click into the particular direction you want to turn and will keep on going until you click it back to the center. I actually like this a lot because I don't forget to turn off my turn signals anymore. The finish isn't that great, but the aluminum body is solid. I didn't have much issue wiring this thing up. I didn't use the low beam wire since my low beam turns on automatically when the bike powers on. One of the headlight wires is not part of the main harness as shown in the wiring diagram photos which is no big deal. The turn signal is easy to wire. The gray wire goes to a single flashing relay, so you don't need to run two.Yes, the build quality isn't the best, but keep in mind that this thing is under $10 and will ship same day with prime over $35.

I bought this for my 1980 yamaha tt250. It was a good fit for my bike. I thought it would be small, but turns out it was perfect. It was definitely a good cheap alternative. All of the switches work just fine. I found someone in previous reviews who had written what all the wires are for. It works great, and actually feels pretty sturdy. My only complaint would be that the paint on it looks awful. I plan on scraping it off and repainting it on my own.

Switch IN is the following :Blue/White = 12 volt from battery to power headlight (into the high/low switch)Light Green = 12 volt from battery to power horn (into push button switch for horn)Grey = 12 volt from battery to power turn signals (into Left or Toggle switch)Switch OUT is the follwoing:White = Low BeamDark Blue = High BeamDark Green = HornLight Blue = Right TurnOrange = Left Turn (some people refer to this is Red or Light Red, looks orange to me...)OK so here is a more detailed breakdown of the wiring diagram for this switch.Switch IN is the following :Blue/White = 12 volt from battery to power headlight (into the high/low switch)Light Green = 12 volt from battery to power horn (into push button switch for horn)Grey = 12 volt from battery to power turn signals (into Left or Toggle switch)So basically all 3 of these wires can be supplied by one single 12 volt source from the battery, that makes it much easier. Also this switch has no flasher so if you buy a regular or LED flasher wire it between the 12 volt supply from the battery to the Grey wire that goes into the switch for the turn signals. (a side note, am LED flasher has to be wired in the correct direction. If wired backwards it will not flash and your turn signals will ALWAYS be on. So before you start crying, try swapping flasher wires and it might be your problem)Switch OUT is the follwoing:White = Low BeamDark Blue = High BeamDark Green = HornLight Blue = Right TurnOrange = Left Turn (some people refer to this is Red or Light Red, looks orange to me...)Lastly don't forget to add a fuse between the battery and the supply lines. This switch works great for the price.

I used this on a Huffy beach cruiser that I motorized. It does everything as advertised and the price is outstanding! $5 and free shipping? Come on! I even had to return the first one because I broke it, but Amazon took the old one back and replaced it with no questions and no additional fees or shipping charges. Gotta love Amazon! As others have said, I wish it came with a wiring diagram, but somebody posted the color scheme in the Q&A section and it seems to be correct. (Except there is no red wire, it's orange.) It is made out of metal which was surprising and I'm really pleased with it.I noticed the top comment says you can disassemble it and MacGyver it to have an off position on the headlight switch. Don't do that! That's how I broke the first one, it fell apart and a spring, ball bearing, and copper connector fell out and I could NOT get them back in. Luckily, I was able to get that replacement. It's pretty easy to just wire up your light to be ON in the high position and OFF in the low position. Good luck!
