Did not fit as received, had to adjust the mounting points slightly, otherwise it works and does the job.

Purchased this for my 2013 Subaru Outback with 175,000 miles. Well packaged and delivered on time. Subaru wants $1700 dollars for an OEM part. BIG THING - You will need to salvage the heat shields from your old converter and attach them to the new one with new grade 8 bolts (1/4 - 20 X .75 length). Do not leave the shields off- you will burn things! Absolutely a perfect fit and all of the shield brackets were were welded exactly in the correct mounting locations. IF YOU ARE MECHANICALLY INCLINED - THIS PRODUCT IS A HUGE MONEY SAVER!!

Great fit on my 2008 outback. Got rid of that annoying P0420 code. Thank-you!

I purchased this catalytic converter, for my daughter's 2006 Subaru Outback. The O2 sensors needed to be replaced and I couldn't get them out to replace them, so i opted to replace the stock converter (to install the new sensors into).I was hesitant on buying a cheap converter but the car has more than a few miles on it and I didn't want to spend my 401k to get an OEM one. It arrived fast, looked decent and I installed it within an hour total. The fit was PERFECT...no auguring out holes or using pry bars. It was actually an easy project. I cannot vouch for the included exhaust gaskets as I ordered Felpro gaskets to use here (big Felpro fan). I also cannot vouch for the reinstallation of the old heat shields as I wanted to be sure this converter worked without throwing codes everywhere (and wanted to keep the old converter intact with heat shields in case I had to reinstall it). There are mounting provisions for the heat shields, on the new converter, but again...I don't know if they would have been a perfect fit.Everything went extremely better than expected and here is to hoping it'll last for a few years.

We got this for my wife’s car after her cat went out. Subaru dealer wanted $4k for this part! I’ve done a lot of exhaust work and this was a nice easy fit.Our primary cat failed and ended up clogging up the next cat in the line. Luckily a replacement is around this same price.
