This cover is being used for a 10 foot kayak. The cover span is up to 12 feet so as you can see from the picture it has excess at one end. The cover itself does what it's meant to as far as being waterproof and the straps and clips are easy to operate. Which makes putting the cover on not a hassle at all. I ordered a full cover from another company, but the top of that is identical to this. The only difference is the the full cover comes with a rectangle non-elastic piece that has clips and straps as well. Overall this cover is good quality and functions as intended.

This kayak cover from SILIVN will work for me, but I am not impressed with the material it is made out of. Material appears to be a plastic vinyl. Description says it is a Heavy-Duty 420D Oxford Fabric with Double PU Coating – It does not look or feel like this type of material. You typically can see and feel the weave on PU coated oxford fabric. There is very little weave/texture on this thin fabric. It feels like the plastic garment bags departments stores will put a new business suit in. The elastic is very stretchy. My kayak is 10’2” long and I got the 9.3 – 10.5’ size. I still have plenty of room. Between the elastic and three straps, this kayak cover is staying in place – nice a snug. My kayaks are outside on the northside of our house under the roof overhang. They do not get any direct sunlight and very little other types of exposure, just dew from the marine layer and the slight rain we get in Southern California. This cover should last me 3 or more years. Not sure how it will hold up under daily direct sunlight. Happy that it is works keeping my kayak protected and critters from making homes in it. Maybe keep shopping around if you are looking for a true heavy-duty cover that can take daily sunlight expose.

I think I am maxing the length of this cover with my 17’ Necky, but it went on. If I didn’t have have a rudder, might have fit just fine. I used towels at both ends to pad the net fit.The material looks to be the same at the cockpit covers I had been using, and those have held up well. The available volume (or girth) of this cover would allow for the largest of kayaks I’ve seen - all of mine have narrow hulls so the cover is nearly a full wrap!The full cover was chosen to better protect my nicer frp Necky through Florida summers. With the towels on the kayak ends, hope to get good life of this cover!The underside straps are great as hurricane winds tend to remove things… Fair pricing, not too much more than my cockpit covers…If they offer more sizes later, I’ll get another - we have a big double to cover ~

This product is VERY thin. It stretched over the kayak with no issues, but I did notice that the elastic edge was already coming unsewn from the "fabric". To be clear, this does not appear to be fabric at all - it looks and feels like plastic. I will update the review after the outdoor exposure.

I'm using this on one of my two identical 10' sit-in style kayaks. I got the cover of size, "9.3-10.5FT". We keep our kayaks outside on a exposed front porch, next to the woods where squirrels, mice and spiders abound. It includes a convenient storage bag when not being use, which is left in the kayak cockpit while the cover is on.My kayaks are under cover, and strapped together top to top when not in use, which keeps leaves and water out, but before adding this cover that still left a gap for critters to enter. This cover fits snug enough to take care of that, though we still plan to wrap the openings with stretch plastic over the winter to seal that area even tighter. For short term periods (during the summer) this will certainly be useful and enough to discourage the creatures of the woods from making our kayak their home.The nylon is thin and coated, but thick enough not to tear easily. Considering the low price, I believe this to be a good compromise, though certainly not constructed to withstand abuse. If your kayak is left outside in direct sunlight (mine isn't), this cover will likely sacrifice itself, and prevent damage and color fade that that would otherwise impact your kayak.

This kayak cover looks good, easy to install, and fits well on a nine foot kayak. It has a stretch band that allows it to be used with larger canoes and kayaks. The material feels durable enough, but time will tell if it can hold up to the elements. The straps hold firm and sinch tight without much effort. The clasps are center which is not good for storage, but it works. The color is sharp.Overall, it is a perfect fit, covers my kayak without any trouble, and works well. It will keep the kayak secure and animal free and protect it from the elements.

I bought two different kayak covers for my pair of 10' single-person kayaks. This black one (bottom in the pic, ASIN B0DT474Q4D) from the brand SILIVN, and the purple camo one (top in the pic, ASIN B0DQDTPQ59) from the brand Longgoearn. This one is currently $25.99 with a 12% coupon (=$22.87) and the purple one is $19.99.This black one seems "good enough", but the purple one is overall better:- They both came with storage bags for when it's not in use, but the purple one came with a smaller storage bag that holds it together more tightly.- This black one is a single layer, but the purple one is a multi-layer material with a UV reflective layer under the colored outer fabric.- The black one is thinner than the double-layer purple one.- The black one has 3 straps with buckles to wrap around the kayak which feel a bit higher-quality than the 4 straps and buckles on the purple one.- They are both the same size, and both generously fit my 10.0 foot long kayaks.- The elastic around the hem feels the same on both, seems strong and durable.- The flat black cover is clearly a bit more subtle than the purple camo.

this is a very nice Kayak cover. i store my Kayak outside so this is a nice addition. Easy to install and has straps to secure it. this will protect my kayak from the outdoors. Great fit and seems very durable.
