I have a small plastic boat with water in the hull. Water entered through improperly sealed screw holes when I mounted accessories. I used two of these drain stoppers, one mounted on each side of the stern, to create portals for siphoning out the water. The drain stoppers worked as designed but I wish the openings were a bit larger. I had problems getting the siphon hose in. The opening is 18 mm in diameter, but the internal threads reduced the useable diameter to only around 15.5 mm (see attached photo). I had to buy a smaller diameter hose and a reducer to connect to the original hose to make everything work.
