As an avid kayaker, I'm always on the lookout for gear that can keep up with my active lifestyle. That's why I'm thrilled to have discovered these half-finger kayaking gloves. Not only do they provide excellent sun protection with their UPF50+ fabric, but they're also incredibly comfortable and breathable. The padded palms and silicone reinforcements have been a game-changer for me. I've noticed a significant reduction in wear and tear on my hands, even after hours of paddling. The grip is also fantastic, allowing me to maintain a secure hold on my paddle without worrying about slipping. The design details of these gloves are thoughtful and practical. The sweat-absorbent fabric on the thumbs is a genius touch, and the adjustable wrist straps ensure a perfect fit. I've also appreciated the convenience of the pull tabs on the middle and ring fingers, which make it easy to remove the gloves quickly. These gloves have become a staple in my kayaking gear, and I've even worn them for other activities like cycling and driving. They're versatile, comfortable, and provide great protection for my hands. If you're in the market for a reliable and comfortable pair of kayaking gloves, look no further. These gloves have earned a permanent spot in my gear bag, and I'm confident they'll do the same for you, 5 Stars!

I have very large hands, and finding gloves that fit are always a chore for me. When I go on longer bike rides my hands/wrist area becomes numb even though I try to move my grip from time to time. I saw these padded gloves, and they offer a XL size so I decided to try them. The gloves seem very well made, stretchable lightweight material on top and a nice padded (although not too thick) palm area. The gloves do fit my large hands, and due to the stretching material are comfortable, not too tight, yet feel secure on my hand. The padding is perfect for gripping the handlebars of my bike relieving some of the hand/wrist pressure while riding. I have not used them for longer rides yet, but I can tell that these gloves will help.Taking these gloves off took a bit, most likely because of my large hands (and maybe some sweat), but they seem well made to take some abuse. I also love the Camo (white) color that I chose. These would also be good for kayaking, which I also do, but I'm not sure how they would hold up over time, getting really wet all the time. I usually don't have the same hand/wrist fatigue when kayaking, so I will most likely use these for biking exclusively.

These surprised me - I anticipated cheaper construction/materials. That's not the case at all - the stretchy material on the back of the hands is actually the nicest I've encountered. Its like lululemon material, really comfortable and will keep my hands from burning when I'm out fishing for some hours. Padded palms are fine, I'm not a huge fan personally because I'd rather the extra palm feel BUT those looking for padded palms, it'll do you just fine, pretty darn comfy and covers the entire palm.Overall I would certainly recommend these if you want something with a padded palm! Wonderful quality item and the fit was totally fine (I measured and selected my size per the guide - I fall between sizes and went up and they are a fine fit).

Once i figured which way to wear it they fit great and super comfortable. Note the padded section is for the palm not the top of the hand. Dont be a dummy and wear it backwards like me the 1st time lol. I like the that the palm is padded and tacky. Provides a secure grip on the rod or paddle while cushioning against possible blisters while out for the whole day. There was some loose thread ends at a couple of the finger cutoffs that i burnt off to prevent future unraveling. Stretchy material allows for a good fit. Im 5-6 and used the Medium for reference.

Very nice and comfortable with good paddingThis was an M size and fit well. I typically wear a small/medium with most mediums being too big. These mediums fit well. The closure/wrist strap is smaller but very comfortable for paddling and bike riding.Does not add any warmth on cold days or stop the wind too much but padding helps avoid pain or uncomfortI liked the two grap points on middle fingers, allowed easy take off since they fit snugly.
