Wow… great kayak roof rack. Holds the kayaks well. It was fairly easy to assemble, and I suck at assembly. It looks cool and the levers adjust for non-use. This roof rack hold our kayaks well, even on long drives. I highly recommend this product.

Easy to use, lets my haul two fairly large kayaks on my Bolt. This does set the kayaks up vertically when you haul two, which can cause some loud resonation at high speeds. Not hard to install, but I did have to replace the straps after two of them cut into each other.

Easy to install and seems very sturdy. Used several times for short trips with no issues so far. Straps seem good quality and hold tight. I appreciate that it came with 2 sets of bolts, so should fit most, if not all, situations.

Just installed and haven’t traveled with yet, so no comment on the straps yet. Would taken only all of 15 minutes to install, but I had to shorten the bolts by about 1/2 inch. Otherwise, when my kayak was in loaded the bolts would damage the vehicle roof. In addition, I’ll have to use a 2” pool noodle to keep the hinged upright from touching the roof too.Love the fact of the foldability and being able to get into garage with installed. The roof racks added just over 4-inches to the height. I have a Tahoe and it clears the garage door.

this is a quality product that is well built and is easy to install. the fold down feature is nice. plenty of hold down straps and spare parts.

These were so easy to install. 10 minutes tops. They are very easy to use. They hold the kayaks very securely. The included straps and bow/stern ropes work perfectly. I love how sporty they look when not hauling kayaks.I can think of two things to nitpick about, but it doesn't deserve taking stars away.1. The instructions do not include how to strap kayaks on or how to use the bow/stern ropes. A quick youtube seach helped out a lot.2. The included paddle straps are very difficult to latch, especially with two paddles in them, but I guess it helps them to be secure.I really like these!

Bought this rack to hold my pelican 130t Angler kayak (2 seater) and my single seater pelican angler on my Chrysler Pacifica and it did not disappoint!! Right out of the box you could feel the quality as this thing is heavy duty. Love that the base is so much wider than the other options online coming in at over 32” as it was perfect for my larger kayak! And the paddle holders kept our van free and clear of those bulky paddles. Mounted easily to the factory oval crossbars with enough room to avoid the bolts from scratching the roof. I also like having the option to lay the center bar flat and mount the canoe or paddle boards that way when you’re only carrying one. I even used the included ropes to tie the front of the kayak off to aid in securing the 13’ beast, but I do not think it is required as the rack held it tightly in place! This rack is worth every penny!!!!

Installation was fairly easy, not a lot of parts/pieces to worry about. Was a little tricky threading the bolt from under, but managable. Held the 2 kayaks very sturdy. Locking mechanism feels nice and tight, doesn't wobble.Makes less noise driving than my previous racks.I would suggest these to anyone wanting to put kayaks on their car, or is really tall. Is a little bit of a reach for me(5'10") to put my on my kayaks on my SUV.Overall, these are very good racks especially for the price range.
