This potato ricer has many uses other than potatoes. I use it to squeeze juice along with a little bit of pulp out of cooked fruit for jelly making. It's great for making baby food as well. It comes with 3 different sizes of discs which makes it convenient for lots of different foods.Well made, sturdy, and easy to use. A great tool to have in the kitchen.

This ricer is decent, it's sturdy, it rices potatoes easily and has comfortable grips.The cylinder the potatoes go in pops out of the handle for easy cleaning. I'm very meticulous about cleaning my tools, and this took me probably only a minute or so to cleanThe one and only issue I have with it is with the removable plate, when it gets gunked up with potato it ends up sticking to the lifter plate, so with every batch of potatos I go to rice, I need to pry the ricer plate off the lifter and put it back in place.Overall it works very well, I made some beautiful creamy mashed potatoes with it.

Using the ricer is straightforward, though it does require a bit of hand strength, especially when processing larger quantities of potatoes. It's advisable not to overload it to make the squeezing motion easier. The cushioned handles provide a comfortable grip and good leverage, which helps to lessen hand and wrist fatigue. I found that it significantly reduced the time and effort compared to using a traditional masher, and the resulting mashed potatoes were indeed lump-free and had a wonderful texture. Beyond mashed potatoes, this ricer can also be used for various other tasks, such as squeezing citrus fruits and making purees. Following the recommendation to wash it immediately after use is good advice to preventbuildup and make cleaning even simpler. Overall, I am very satisfied with this potato ricer. It performs its primary function exceptionally well and seems built to last.

I’m really impressed with the Potato Ricer. It makes smooth, fluffy mashed potatoes in no time—much easier and faster than a regular masher. The three interchangeable discs are handy for different textures.The stainless steel is sturdy and feels high quality, and the cushioned handles make it comfortable to use. It’s also easy to clean, especially if rinsed right after use. For the quality and versatility you get, the price is very good. Totally worth it!
