This is a well made cover, thick enough to protect from hail damage but light weight for install. I liked it has front and back tags inside, so no guessing there. Since I am short with an SUV, I did take the help putting it on but could probably do alone. My 6ft spouse could do it alone with no issues. Rating it a 4 for the lack of instructions on installing the straps, plus with a roof rack they aren’t large enough for the back, so we hooked 2 together. The H8 fit perfectly on a Subaru Ascent.

I bought this hail cover for my 2018 Honda CRV. I bought the H6 SUV 181. I actually measured my car and it is 181” I figured this must be the right size the way they want you measure. I just thought they would have given you more wiggle room. It JUST fits, however it’s very hard to pull the elastic past the bottom of the front and back. Had I known this, I would have gone up the next size. Unfortunately, with high winds the first time I used it, and because it is so tight around the bottom of the car, the elastic blew off the bottom in the front pulling the cover off the front up to the grill. Also, I believe the straps are pretty lame. Where they really need to go (at the wheel-well, by the time you tighten them, it draws the material from the bottom up too much. I placed the strap where it wouldn’t do that and (as you can see) the strap blew off the car. I will sew some loops on the material and either use a bungy cord or a mechanical strap to lightly cinch the cover from underneath the car. As expensive as these are, they really should have done something like the loops. I would have given it a 5 star if I didn’t have so many problems

It is heavy but substantial. But stays dry for the most part, and easy too drape over the car and take off. Both times when hail was predicted and put the cover on. Maybe it also keeps hail away? The predicted hail missed us.

I used this right before a hail storm, it worked! Notes: if your car is dirty, you'll get the inside dirty so be careful to clean it so you don't potentially scratch your car at next use. USE THE STRAPS PROPERLY! I did one in the center of the car and one behind the front wheels but on the hood, the last strap wasn't needed for the back of my SUV. I have a Hyundai Tuscan.

This is a very nice car cover. I was hesitant on the purchase. I purchased 1 size larger than recommended and probably didn't have to. I am actually surprised by the quality. I put it on my 2017 Mustang GT. It fits better if you fold the mirrors in. I purchased due to the unpredictable weather in MN. For extra hail protection & to keep the car nice and clean. Honestly I am can comfortably say it could protect from golf ball size hail. Hopefully never have to test that theory. The under side of the cover is very soft. Just avoid letting the underside from touching the ground/dirt. If it came in other colors beside Black that would be nice.Easily put on with 2 people haven't tried by myself yet. The bag it comes in is very big and allows for storage. Not sure on the waterproof part yet. May update more details in the future. And I will be definitely buying another one for my 2014 Focus ST
