Worked perfectly on my new to me 2012 Acura RDX. Interior was super rough and this looks factory. Instructions were easy to follow. I opted to use a staple gun rather than adhesive. Also ended up deep cleaning and applying over the original because taking it off came with a sticky tar-like mess from the original adhesive that got black goo on everything. It actually gave it some extra padding and turned out really good.

Excellent replacement console cover. Exactly as OEM new. Install is challenging. Old cover foam with adhesive denigrated into sticky mess. Covered it with 1/8” adhesive backed neoprene foam. Very difficulevto staple down so used duct tape all along the edges.

This is a piece of leather it is not a cover. Based on other reviews I got a Pneumatic staple gun to install it. I don’t think it would be very easy to install without one. I was expecting a cover but this is just a piece of leather that you have to use to basically reupholster your center console. It requires complete disassembly of the center console cover. It came apart fairly simply after watching numerous YouTube videos on how to do it. I would rate this a level 8 out of 10 on car upholstery difficulty for the novice person. You kind of have to have some upholstery experience I think. I would never do this again. Had I not already taken it apart I probably would have changed my mind on doing it had I understood what I was getting myself into earlier in the process. It is HARD to install and make it have a professional appearance. No one else will probably notice but it bubbles in some areas I where I couldn’t get it taut enough. Several reviews say it wasn’t big enough and I have to say it was the perfect size I even had to come some off of it. Not an easy project and not for the person who isn’t brave to just go for it and try to do something like this. I think if I was giving advice I would say get some spray adhesive to stick it down first before trying to staple it down. May the odds be ever in your favor lol!

i loved this product, i personally used a stapler gun because i felt that glue wouldn’t hold up very well so i played it safe. as you can see, my acura rdx had a pretty bad ripped up center console so when i found this on amazon i was so ready to DIY this if it meant i don’t have to see this in my car each time i go in😭i love ittt! i did it so tight, the wrinkles are just from the way it was packaged but it’s ok with time they go away and i did use a blow dryer like it said which made them a lot better but not all completely go away but like i said with time! reviews are right about the piece being like pretty good fit tho you do gotta stretch and pull, def need another person to help you hold and pull & staple

Like another review said i didn't rip out the old skin at all just lay this over top. Use the super glue like other review mentioned to hold the skin in place.Trim wherever too extra so the plastic cover can slap back easiler. Little snug close the console after is done because doubled layer the skin but little elbow push do the trick. Any handy DIYer can definitely do this.

Writing review after actually putting it to use for many months. Overall the quality and color are OK. The only issue is for me was the dimensions. It seems a bit tight. But otherwise, happy with the product.

Replaced cover on a worn 2011 acura rdx. Material quality is great. Instructions not so much. Plenty of videos on YouTube so you shouldn't have a problem. Patience is key as it takes a while to adhere and stretch it over properly for a wrinkle free install.

For a cover I was expecting a crappy ill fitting console cover but for the price it can't be beaten. I repair interiors of cars for a living and was looking for an inexpensive way to replace this 08' RDX console lid and stumbled upon this. Took me about 10 minutes to disassemble, install and reassemble the cover. Also bought their armrest cover too and that one was good although much harder to install due to the design of the door panel. Most surprising was the color was a very even match to the OEM tan color. I thought I'd have to dye it for a better match but I did not. If you're a DIY-er watch some YouTube videos how to remove the console lid. I used cyanocrylate Ester to attach the cover to the lid (aka super glue) and it worked well. I then used a heat gun on low to shrink the cover to a better fit (picture does not show that part) the lines all went away with some heat. Can use a hair dryer too. Go light with heat if using a heat gun and keep a soaked micro fiber towel on hand to quickly cool the surface if you over do it with the heat gun quickly wipe it with the wet rag. It's quite thin so be careful. Also I did not remove the old torn up cover. I found it looked best with it underneath of it. Added a little more cushion.

It’s good value and looks great, it’s a little hard to stretch but if you use a heat gun it works fine.
