These LiFePO4 batteries seem to work well so far, but I haven’t run them through enough charge cycles to see if they hold up long-term. They claim 1200mAh, but real-world tests show it’s more like 1050mAh, so let’s call that a mild exaggeration. They fit as expected and charge fine, but if you’re banking on full capacity, you might be a bit disappointed. Still, they’re doing the job for now; time will tell if they keep up!

Great to add some LiFePO4 batteries to use in devices that are AA and use 3.7V.

This product is a 4 pack of LiFePO4 battery, size 18500 with an advertised capacity of 1200mAh at a nominal voltage of 3.2V.Note that the battery cell is not completely "flat top" nor fully "button top", it is kind of having a "flat button" top.I like it is LiFePO4 that it has a longer shelf life as well as more cycles with normal usage, comparing to the traditional Lithium Ion battery cells. It works as a 18500 battery, slightly shorter than a 18650 battery. However, most will concern about the "advertised capacity".With some simple capacity tests, these cells are tested and having a capacity of about 1050mAh, with a end voltage of 2.6V. If end voltage is the bare lowest 2.5V, it may be able to squeeze out a little bit more, but damage will start bringing to the cell.As a result, there is about 10~18% overrated, taking into account of the extra 0.1V discharge and some testing error. If it is 20% or more over-rated, it will be a 2~3 stars. Not a very promising product with true capacity, but the markup isn't too terrible, just to be sure that you are not buying a 1200mAh cell, for sure.

I have a set of EDC flashlights that take 14500 batteries. I thought to try these even though my usual 14500 batteries are 3.7V and these are 3.2V. I did a head-to-head comparison against my office wall and then on a walk on the trails - I don't see any significant drop in intensity I'll see how they do with regards to life of charge and the discharge curve. For now, they appear to be an excellent alternative for my flashlights.
