Overall this is a lot of fun. I am fairly new to crochet. Pattern is easy to follow with the videos. My biggest, and only, complaint is that the yarn given is absolute garbage. As soon as it leaves the roll, it all separates from each other. I spend half of my time just trying to make sure each and every thread make it through every single hole and arent dropped while I am pulling them through or trying to loop it around the hook. If you do decide to go for this pattern I highly recommend purchasing a different brand of yarn. If they included something better I would have given it more stars. Aside from that, it is still enjoyable.

This kdafio Crochet Kit for Beginners works for me as I am not totally new to crochet. All items were included and the instructions are detailed enough for me to follow with the help of the leader of my crochet group. I imagine it might be difficult for a complete newbie. Overall quality of the items is okay for the price point.

I ordered this for myself to start learning how to crochet. I watched a couple youtube videos to learn the basic stitches and magic ring and I made a small stuffed whale before I started this project. That was the extent of my knowledge going in.The instructions were very clear and simple once I learned the lingo. The QR code to watch the youtube instructions really helped as well, because I'm a visual learner. There were some times where a video obviously cuts, but it wasn't hard to follow along and figure out the next step. The yarn is VERY soft, however it was also a little hard to work with because it split easily. But it was doable and not a big problem. There was lots of yarn, stuffing, and hot glue sticks. I had plenty left over to start some other projects (I'm currently making mushrooms out of the white and brown excess yarn). Overall I'm very happy with it and would love to get the purple flower vines next time. There's a couple things I'd like to mention that don't have anything to do with the quality. First, be careful making the leaves. I crocheted the stitches too tight and they were looking like little bowls, I had to undo half of them and restitch them more loosely. Also I did not use a hot glue gun to attach the leaves to the vines like the instructions say. I don't own a hot glue gun and I didn't want hard spots in my project. Instead I left about 10cm of the dark green yarn strands on the leaves after tying them off. I attached them to the vines by sewing them through a stitch in the vine then securing them with a couple more stitches in the backs of the leaves before tying them off again and cutting the extra yarn. So if you don't want to use glue, leave those ends long until the end.I think that's it! 10/10 would order again. Also I'm very excited to be the first review! I hope this helps :)

Not a beginner project by any means. Yarn split and hook was not of good quality.
