Used for about 4 months without issue until one day my 50lb shepherd mix was able to break the spring chasing a cat. The steel spring and brackets came apart and he was able to get out of the yard into the street. Luckily he came back but this spring did not stand up to a real test! The clips and steel cable we used to secure him were all intact.

The item arrived much quicker than expected which was great. Much bigger, but still useful. The hookstend to catch on the grass, but overall, works as needed.

I am very pleased that this arrived a couple of days before it was supposed to. However, I can't use it. The swivel hook attachment that you attach to the dog's collar is not put on the spring part correctly. Thus, it's of no use to me. I don't understand how something like this could have happened. Quality control?
