I purchased this product to provide safety release when biking with my dogs. This product is solid and works perfectly. I can release my dogs quickly when needed, yet still be comfortable that it will hold up to them pulling.

Used for my kayak anchor system, hasn't rusted or gotten gritty after multiple long, salty days on the water. Seems to be high quality, although the forces I subject it to are below the claimed strength so I cannot verify those claims.
