Favorite part of this is the fact that it has the dimmable feature. Really helps set the lighting to whatever your mood is, I wish everything in our home was dimmable. The light itself was super easy to install, and took about 15-20 minutes while we were chatting and doing other things, so someone more handy and not doing two things at once could probably knock it out in 15 mins flat.

Love this track light set, the black and wood really add to our modern farmhouse vibe. Appears well constructed at almost 7 pounds and was a simple install especially if you’re replacing old track lights like we were. We put it in our kitchen but it could work well in a hallway (especially to aim at art pieces hanging on the walls), a den or even over a kitchen island. The lights adjust individually to let you aim them wherever you need more light. This is really going to help in cooking prep and being able to see our spice rack better.

The fixture is really nice and looks great in our kitchen. The build quality is good. Installation was not hard. If it were just the fixture I would have nothing bad to say about it.But the fixture comes with bulbs. They are great too, in their way. They only use 0.25 watts apiece when not illuminated (as they await their remote-control signal), dim to well under 1 watt apiece at their dimmest, and use 9 watts apiece at their brightest (i used a watt meter before installation). They're efficient, bright, and give off pleasant light. So what's the problem?First of all, the fixture looks better with par20 bulbs (mini-floods), or at least I think it does. Look at the pictures and see if you agree.Second of all, and more importantly, the bulbs are all controlled individually, but there is only one remote. So if you're in a position where there's only, say, a 50% chance of the signal getting to the. bulbs (like with low batteries, or far away, or not pointing the remote in the right direction), the bulbs aren't all going to get the signal. So if you're turning them off, only some will turn off. And if you hit the power button again, the off ones will turn on and the on ones will turn off. And it will continue this way until you unscrew the ones that are off and turn on the ones that are on and then screw them all in again (or vice versa -- you get the idea) so that they're synched up. For those of us who aren't extremely tall this is a huge pain in the neck, and it makes the remote feature not really worth it... like, even if you know to point it straight at the fixture the battery's going to go dead eventually, or a kid's gonna get their hands on the remote or something, and you're going to be on a ladder. Like, it would just be better to put it on a dimmer and put whatever bulbs you like in it, which is what we ended up doing. And we're very happy with it. Of course, we got it for free, but if we'd paid $50 or $60 (it's $53 on black friday but it usually goes for a lot more because of the remote feature) I think we'd feel like we got a pretty good deal.

I replaced an old fluorescent kitchen light with this fixture, and it has improved the look of the space so much!It does not feel cheaply-made; they are quality materials: thick metal, secure articulation points. The bulb cans are nice and big, unlike some other fixtures I've ordered online before.I will say that mounting this in a fairly cramped space was a challenge due to the four screws on the sides that mount the case to the base plate — you need enough horizontal clearance to screw them in with the screw driver (probably about 12''), whereas if the screws mounted from the bottom upward, it wouldn't matter. Not really a huge issue, but just something to consider if you plan on installing it in a smaller, limited space similar to mine. The remote controller that comes with the fixture is fantastic, and it features tons of different pre-programmed modes for color temp and brightness, but also lets you fine tune it to your liking. I used some double-sided adhesive tape to mount it directly to the kitchen doorway, so I can adjust it on/off when entering and leaving the room. The lightbulbs themselves are included with the fixture and have a wide temperature spectrum from cold blue to warm amber (and everything in between). Same with the brightness — they can get super bright or very dim depending on your preference. The cool, brighter settings are great for visibly-demanding, detail oriented activities, and the warmer dim settings are nice when you just want to keep it cozy. All in all, this is a beautiful fixture that adds class and charm to a space, with modern yet rustic vibes, and I highly recommend it.

Nice light fixture. The insides of the reflectors are painted white and produces an even light with the included LED lights are adjustable regarding brightness and color temperature using the remote. The fixture installs with a single attachment to an octagon box made for that purpose. The lights articulate well and hold their position.
