The clips didn’t work at all to install them. I used 3M tape to mount them so I can easily remove them if I want to.

The idea of these is a lot better than the actual execution. The kawasaki is pretty darn comfortable, I'm not sure you really need knee pads at all as mine have never hit that particular area. However, storage space is at a premium so I love the idea of the zipper pouch and the pads might be needed if someone larger than me sits in the seat and I want my guests to be comfortable. These have a velcro piece on each side that connect together to keep them connected and on the rig. Then there are little plastic clips that connect to the center piece of the side by side. The clips do not stay connected well so these fall off and were fairly hard to get installed because they just kept falling off. I'm fairly unimpressed.

These are simply padded knee protectors in a fancy shaped container. I put mine in my auto, because it's a Saturn, and the middle console really bugs my right knee when driving. Solved that problem. The plastic material of the outer shell is a bit cheap-ish, but the zippers are solid. Foam padding is medium density that will indeed give you some bounce back, thick enough to really be effective.
