I am very glad with that set, directly compatible with my Porter Cable 690 and thanks to the bundled adaptor also with my Makita trimmer/router. I purchased the Bosch RA1100 adaptor so I can use them also with my Bosch router. Currently I have Porter Cable, Makita and Bosch routers and all of them can use these brushes. Very glad.I did not give five stars because I cannot understand why in the heavens the neck of the adaptors aren't at the same extension. As bigger are the adapters, bigger is the neck. Probably somewhere in the future I will cut all of them for the same extension, 5 mm looks me good...Edited on January 6th, 2019: today I cut all at 4.1mm as my Sunday afternoon project. Easy and relatively fast. I used my multitool with a blade for metal cut and a scrap piece of 4.1 mm plywood as a guide.

Seems to be decent quality, but there are no size markers either in the case of on the templates.

This is a great kit. Arrived to Maritime Provinces in 3 days. Appears to be high quality with a good selection of template guides. I also purchased the 71022 powertec universal router baseplate and these template guides fit perfectly. I would recommend and buy again.FYI I have a mastercraft maximum fixed base / plunge router.

Looks like good quality.Individual bushings aren't labeled as far as I can tell so you need to measure them every time or memorize them.Supplied with two knurled nuts for securing.I tried out some template cutting this evening with the 7/16" bushing. Worked great. Unfortunately after 5 minutes, the bushing had come loose and was destroyed by the router bit...not to mention what it did to my expensive bit. The knurled washer was also chewed up enough by the collet to not be usable. Good that they supply two.I'm not sure if I am supposed to use thread locker or something else...but I am pretty nervous to use these again given how easily they come loose with a little bit of router motor vibration. Would be nice if there was a way to securely lock the bushings in so this doesn't happen again. I suppose I can just re-tighten every 30 seconds...but I have enough to do. Let me know if you have any advice on this problem.Update: after more research it seems people recommend getting an o-ring to use to dampen vibration and give these something to tighten down on in order to reduce the chance of them coming unscrewed. It would be cool if replacement bushings were sold individually so I don't have to buy a complete new set every time a single bushing comes loose and gets mangled.

Great product in a nice plastic case. The clip on the case might not last long, but the case itself probably will. The guides are manufactured from a fairly good quality metal and do not leave any impression of "cheap".For the price they are a great product worth the investment. This set is used mainly on a variety of Makita routers and trim routers and they are a perfect fit.

This is a high quality set of guides for the money. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is I have no idea what the adapter plate fits. It does not fit any of my routers which include a Dewalt DW625 (This router came with its own plate that fits these guides), A Porter cable 690LR (The guides fit the standard base plate that came with the router), and a Triton TRA001 which has no adapter unless you buy the Triton one. I will make my own baseplate that will fit these guides for the Triton. Before I purchased, I could never find a list of supported routers, not even on their website. The box had a list of these and I will include them in this review for others benefit.B&D - All ModelsDeWalt - DW610, DW614, DW615, DW624, DW625Elu - 2720, 2721, 3328Freud - FT2000E, FT2000Hitachi - TR8, TR12, M12SA, M12VPorter Cable - All ModelsSkil - 1870, 1875These will also work with any base that supports 1-3/16" dia. center hole.

Just received my set, and (although I have not used them yet) I am very impressed. Look to be high quality, the template guides are heavy brass, smooth and polished, the screw threads are well machined, the nuts are easy to grip and should finger tighten well without slipping (or cutting me!) and it fits my baseplate (Rockler universal baseplate for my Bosch routers.)The case is nice, does not look flimsy as so many are these days, it should last a long time.I am not anticipating any problems, but I will update this, if necessary, after using them a while.

Just received this set yesterday. The Brass is nicely finished, and good ,heavy quality also. My set was made in Taiwan, not China. I didn't notice any burrs or sloppy machining on my set. The knurl on the nuts it very coarse, and makes it easy to lock your insert in place. I have 3 Porter Cable routers, 692, 892, and the small handheld 7301 "power unit". I was very happy to see that these guides worked on the 7301 unit also. I use that when cutting some small dovetail joints because its a lot easier to handle then a fullsize router. Getting the extra adapter is a plus, also !

I got this kit a few weeks ago. It's a nice set of guides, well-machined, and nicely packaged. I didn't really need the adaptor, but it will come in handy when I set up my own router table. The guides have worked great for me and the plastic case helps me to avoid losing them among all the other bits and pieces I use with my router. The price is very reasonable, about the same as some other kits that don't include a carrying case, but the quality is just as good. No complaints here. I'd buy this set again.
