It's with a heavy heart that I write this one-star review, as I've used this model of mouse heavily and consistently for over a decade now. However, the most recent one I bought had it's left microswitch give out in just a little over a year. Kensington's support is excellent and they honored their warranty and sent a replacement immediately... only for that replacement to come out of the box with another faulty microswitch. One must press substantially past the "click" in order for the computer to register the click, and the tactile dissonance is pretty hard to live with. I don't know if they changed suppliers recently or something, but it seems like the quality has perhaps dropped substantially over the years.While their support has been excellent so far, I'll still be wary of any new mouse they send me based on the experience I've had so far with the latest mice they've sent me. I've been forced to move on and explore other trackball mice.

Great for productive work like music production or photo/video editing, highly recommend for the price
