Kenwood KFC-6996PS - 6x9" Oval 5-way 5 Speaker
KFC-6996PS 6"x9" speakers rock a polypropylene cone with a diamond array pattern, which minimizes distortion, while a rubber surround ensures overall durability. All the musical details are handled by the balanced dome tweeter and three supertweeters, and dispersion is improved by Kenwood's proprietary Sound Field Enhancer.
Kenwood's Acoustic Sound Harmonizer uses slots on the mount housing the tweeters to improve the transition to the higher frequencies, so you'll experience a smoother sound overall. Grilles are included for custom installations.
Acoustic Sound Harmonizer
Produces a smooth and natural sound by controlling woofer sound waves and allowing only certain frequencies to pass through the holes of the tweeter panel.
Factory Location Fit
The tweeter height is designed as low as possible, allowing the speakers to easily fit in most factory locations.
Sound Field Enhancer
This unique shape of the tweeter creates strong frontward sound as well as a wider sound field in 5kHz and higher frequencies.

I got two sets of performance series speakers. Front and rear and I'm supper happy I did. A lot clearer than OEM JBL. Super happy so far.

Put these in an 2001 Toyota Camry. Awesome Speakers, I love the sound quality. You can really hear the symbols hit hard on these. These completely overshadowed my front factory speakers, they are much heavier than the factory ones as well, I had to turn the front ones up to match the back ones now. If your all about that bass then maybe not so much love will you have for these speakers but I have a subwoofer for that so I'm all for it.

Haven't hooked them up yet, installed in a project truck that will take a little more time. They look nice as I expected from Kenwood. The only disappointment was the two foot of speaker wire. It would be enough for a replacement, but no even close for a new installation. Hopefully they didn't skimp on other materials.

I built a giant Bluetooth speaker out of these and was thinking I would have to add either more bass or a mid range speaker to the setup, but these bad boys are PERFECT, BY THEMSELVES!!!(proper box size, porting, and enough power to push them = AMAZING!!!)

I have a tried Focal, Morel, and Kicker 6x9's for my vehicle. All are good speakers. Don't get me wrong. However, for the price point of $60 these are the best coaxial speakers by far. The 150 watt RMS power is really what separates these speakers from the rest of the pack. They are so loud and clear that they actually drown out my 300 watt 10"Rockford-fosgate subwoofer. Great job Kenwood. Great job!!!

Éste par de bocinas de 6X9 de 5 vías y 150 watts RMS suenan muy claro y preciso, las monté en unos cajones individuales y las uso con un amplificador de valvulas de 50 watts, funcionan muy bien para los medios y agudos, no distorsionan a la máxima potencia con ése amplificador y se disfrutan mucho, amplia mente recomendables para sonorizar una sala de estar o habitación.

Bass? Idk what everyone talking about because there's nothing distortion now if you want to be blown away with some hi notes there ok but if your wanting that just get some components
