Wick lasted for about 3 months. Burned uneven, and yes it was properly installed. My old one lasted for years. Very disappointed.

The hardest part was taking heater apart and cleaning, installing new wick was a breeze it comes with instructions

Fits my Corona 22DK heater. The wick is slightly different than pictured here. Mine did not have the horizontal stitching that is shown in the photo.Everything else is as shown and the wick fit perfectly. Good value and quality.

The wick was as expected and fit my Corona 22 DKC-a 25 year old unit. Included with the wick was a little information leaflet that I found very useful in dealing with a problem I was having with the heater. Apparently, most flame problems associated with kerosene heaters come from poor, contaminated or old kerosene. Knowing this I was able to get my heater working properly again. The price (about $11), including shipping, was comparable with what you'd pay in the store if you could find the style you need. I found it odd that the name of the company is the "American Wick" but right under the name it says "made in England." LOL

Purchased this wick to fit my Corona 22DK kerosene heater. Easy to install with included directions. Very important hint for long lasting wick usage, always use K-1 kerosene. Clear not dyed red. The dye will lessen the lifespan of the wick. Make sure to line up the install line with the wick receiver to give you a constant even flame, otherwise excess carbon will accumulate on the top side of the wick, lowering the BTU output of the Kerosene heater.

Product properly fit, however, I had to disassemble unit several times to get the proper height adjustment. Directions were helpful and clear, it's just a difficult task and may take several attempts to get right adjustment.
