I’m a Kershaw guy. I like Buck, Gerber is good for handles. Schrade is king (as far as affordable quality imo) but this thing is just fan to the 10th power tastic. Sharpest cleanest cutting edge out of the box of ANY knife I’ve ever purchased and my wife says I have a problem but meh. Don’t pass on it I promise you’ll be happy. And if you get the Blir with the olive green and grey rubber scales they match splendidly

This little caper is quite nice in the hand. The handle is large enough to hold in many different grips , even with my 3xl hands. The steel is quite hard , I would suggest sharpening and honing be done with diamond sharpening stones to reduce time spent apexing it. It came sharp enough for use .

The Good:This really is the perfect knife for field dressing, skinning, and some light quartering/butchering. Thin profile, sharp, high grind, good grips and lightweight. While D2 steel is not great for corrosion resistance, it will take a beating and stay sharp between hunts. Processed 3 deer and some of our meat rabbits and very happy with it so far.The Bad:The sheath it came with is HORRIBLE. The kydex is not a tight fit and the knife would be impossible to scount carry without falling out. The "snap button" to retain the knife is also so loose that i can easily deploy and return the knife without un-doing the button. It also hangs low off your belt and the whole thing flaps around annoingly. I was going to return this to Amazon becuase the shealth is almost as important as the knife itsself on a fixed blade, but i loved the knife so much i ended up ordering a UltiClip 3.3 and geating up the kydex to get a little bit better fit. The knife is still not super secure, but for the price its good enough for my hunting setup.

Bought this to use as an around the house tool and decided to buy it because of the price. I don't expect some high dollar quality for a little knife that costs thirty something dollars but I was surprised at how nice it is. Showed up fairly sharp and the sheath is functional, can't ask for much more than that.

What a great little knife. Wanted something for the field dressing and couldn’t be happier. Brilliantly small sized and perfect for trimming down the the bone.

Used it to debone a whitetail deer hind quarter. Washed it first, then got down to business. Worked like a charm out of the box, didn’t have to sharpen it at all and easily worked through the tendons and sinewy parts. I did like the smaller blade, it was easy to use and felt like an extension of my hand. It never slipped in my hand and the extra little finger placement areas around the blade were very useful. For the price you can’t beat it.
