Very nice product. I got this to replace the aging city water inlet on my motorhome. Nothing was wrong with the old one, just getting some age on it and knowing it would fail in the next year or so. This product is a serious upgrade from the OEM inlet. No plastic here! Very heavy and solid. The installation was fairly straightforward with only one trip to the hardware store. This item has male threads, and so did the connection on the coach side. I had to get a connector that was female on both sides to make it work. Seems odd that the threads would be different from what was already on my rig. Easy enough to take care of though. I would take a look at this before starting the swap if you get one of these. You also need to have some plumber's putty to put on the backside since it was not included.

We use the heck out of our trailer and we move with decent regularity. Every time I hooked up to water, I worried about stripping the original plastic connector. But you want it tight so it doesn’t leak! I came across this and thought it would be a perfect solution. Easy to install and now I can crank it down (within reason!) without worrying about stripping the plastic piece. I was worried it would be too hot in the sun but that hasn’t been the case so far. I like it and am glad I got it. If, in a few months, I change my mind, I’ll come back and let you know!

Have yet to install, appears to line up with previous fittings on rv. Made of stainless steel. I have always had problems with connecting my hose to inlet, always have leaks, this looks like it might solve my problem. I have a KES shower installed in my home for over ten years, I live near salt water and have not had any problems with rust and it functioned well so decided to give this a try. It appears to have all installation, gaskets, teflon tape and other parts, even a pair of white cotton gloves. This appears well made. KES manufactures a well know plumbing/faucet brand that has a blue and red emblem.

I thought I was doing an upgrade for a plastic part that had broken on my trailer. However, the retaining ring for the back flow valve was way too small and did not hold it in. If the cap is not secured tightly while the pump is on, then you will shoot your backflow valve out into the dirt. Save your money and don’t use it. It was a waste of my Sunday and not an upgrade.

Exactly what I needed to renew my city water connection port on the rv!The original one is about 20 years old and was starting to deteriorate. It was made out of plastic. This one is brushed metal so it's a huge plus. It was very easy to disconnect it, attached this one and screw it back down.Just make sure you use caulking to seal everything up nicely. It's easy to use. It's durable. It fits great. It's functional and has a strainer built in. No leaks. Great value for the money. Looks good!

Finally got my new filler inlet installed on my RV and this thing is super. I was going to replace my old battered one with a new plastic inlet because I thought that was all I could get. Then I saw this and had to try it. It is really solid, pretty heavy in your hand, and I think it will last a long time. Of course, if the stainless isn't really stainless, then I guess I will find that out soon enough. But there is nothing to make me think that this is anything other than a quality item. For me, the installation was pretty simple with just a single plumbing adapter needed to make it work with my piping. I did watch a few online videos first to make sure I knew what I was getting into. This says it has a backflow preventer valve, which I will take at their word. Really, the whole thing is just nicer than I thought I would be able to find.If I have any complaint at all it is that the outer flange that attaches to the outer wall of the RV is just a bit smaller in diameter than I would like. When replacing an older fill valve you expect to find some wear and maybe even rot around the old filler and a larger flange would help you to not only hide any ugliness, but would give you screw holes farther away from any compromised wall material. I actually drilled two extra holes in this one, closer to the outside edge, to make sure I had good material to screw into.
