The mallets and balls are great but it is impossible to play the game with the plastic wickets. They are to flimsy and won't go into the soil and they fall down constantly. You'll need to buy metal wickets to play the game.

This child's croquet set is so well made. This is comparable to adult sets priced well over $100. The balls and mallets are solid wood, mallets perfect size for our 5 yr old & 2 yr old grandchildren. Even their arthritic grandparents find it comfortable to use! Despite hoops were plastic, I still think a 5 star product.
