The installation was very easy after figuring out the proper collet to install. Fit and finish is good. Like other devices that are infinitely positionable, setting it for optimum viewing and accessibility takes a few tries. It stays locked in place pretty well. The one-handed use is easy with and without gloves, and the lock provides additional peace of mind. The vibrations are dampened, but not completely removed. The amount the phone jostled had a lot to do with road surfaces, engine vibrations, tire inflation, suspension stiffness setting, and font size choice. It does the best it can and is reasonable visible. I would recommend this for just about any vehicle, side-by-side, hauler, jeep, mini excavator, or motorcycle.

I actually did not use this mount on my motorcycle, I needed it more on my boat. I do sometimes get into rough water, and the boat is a much harsher environment in impact. The rubber mounts on this phone holder worked extremely well in the demanding environment of the boat. The tower on my boat had a railing similar to the diameter of a handlebar and it mounted perfectly. It definitely saves my expensive phone from, the harsh environment and shock of hitting the waves. While it is slightly more expensive than others, you may find on Amazon, it is well worth the slightly extra expense in the longevity of keeping your phone safe.

update - i made a mistake. I did not open the phone mount fully. once the phone mount is open fully there is plenty of space for my galaxy s21 plus with tpu case.I needed a phone mount for my e-scooter and found this mount. I purchased the one vibration dampener. this device comes with multiple inner rings in case you have a smaller bar to mount it on. I ended up using one of the inner rings to mount it.it's really easy to install. you install the handlebar c-clamp first, then you install the phone mount. this makes it a lot easier to install in parts not just a big phone mount rig. my phone fit perfectly. the mount was almost at max size limit tho lol. I have a galaxy 21 plus with a thin tpu case and it fit. without the case itll have more space.I really like the design of this phone mount. when you pushed your phone into the mount it releases the springs, the top and bottom borders shut close, tight. once your phone is locked in it is super secure. your phone's not coming out unless you push that release button. I rode a round trip of 9 miles and it worked fantastic. I did have to readjust it a little bit due to rough terrain but I retighten the mount and the phone stayed in place after that.i highly recommend this mount. the build quality is great, the one handed mount and unmount design is fantastic, and I'm highly confident that my phone will not come loose during a ride due to its thoughtful design.if you are on the fence about this phone mount, just get it you won't regret it! just make sure your phone meets the max size limit.
