So happy I can find things easily

I am amazed by this tracker, You get 8 trackers! The batteries are included and they also give you a great little screwdriver!! Very easy to do and the sound of the trackers are nice and loud!!!! I absolutely love this thing!!!!

So far, great...I ordered them because of a disappointment with the oval ones and I am so pleasantly surprised.I was able to get the battery area is open.I hooked them up to my items and they worked immediately.I'm shocked ..in a good way

I almost had my locks changed because I could not find my keys in a one bedroom, one bath apartment! I just moved in, so at least I have that excuse, but I have lost keys in a dorm room in college, so guess it is just me.Anyways, found my phone in seconds the other day.A few things that hopefully technology will fix, or perhaps there is another product out there.- the responders that you attach to your keys, phone, etc., are way too big. About 1" wide by 2" long. It fits fine for a key ring, but is bulky on my Roku remote and my phone. Plus, the tiny litte double-sided stickers in the kit do not work so I had to use real strong packing tape to tape the responder to the back of my phone and the remote.Finally, I put one in my purse and it was so muffled that it didn't work, so I put it on the outside where I have a metal o ring at the bottom of the strap. Not sure what I would do if not ring at the bottom of a purse...will cross that bridge when come to it. In general, if your phone is right side up, the responder is so muffled you have to be in the same room and pretty close to hear it. When you turn it so the responder is right side up the sound is loud. Not sure if there is a solution to this, but if you have a larger home, good luck. I would not be the kind of person to remember to keep my phone upside down so that the responder is right side up.Other than that the remote is small which is good and bad because you don't want to lose that! I put it in a little bowl near my TV with my Roku remote, so you just have to make sure to keep track of it. I do like the small size because remotes are just so huge.I would buy it for someone with a small home, just know the disadvantages of it being so muffled in a purse that you can't hear it and super muffled if the responder is not right side up.

Kinda nice at first. It was a helpful tool. However, it tends to go through the batteries. The button batteries need changed at least once a year. Also, if the speaker is blocked by how it is laying, it can be difficult to hear. This product has about a 50/50 success rate in locating a device. Beats 0/100.

I only received today and have only tested one receiver and the transmitter. No longitudinal information about when the device fails which happens all electronics eventually.1. Arrives with 8 receivers, 8 CR2032 batteries for the receiver, 1 transmitter, 8 key rings, instructions, and a little packet (did not open so do not know the count) of two sided sticky things for attaching if no key hole.2. The instructions are very simple. Put two AAA batteries (you must provide) into the transmitter as you would for any other AAA device (look at where spring is), put a CR2032 battery in each receiver you are about to use (I am only using one at the moment) and press the appropriate button. There are lots of reviews talking about the device dying at about a year, not just the batteries but the receivers themselves. I should have several years supply.3. I did have a problem putting the CR2032 battery into the receiver. It does not just pop in. I took several minutes trying to get the battery to sit low enough so I could put the door back on.4. I saw several comments about the device not working if under a lot of clothes or blocked. I have tested this. I put under a wadded up comforter, the volume was low but I heard it but low in volume. I put inside my solid wood (particle board), back behind several other electronic devices. With the desk draw open, I heard it clearly. With the desk drawer closed, I had to be about 12 inches from the door to be sure I heard and not imagined due to tinnitus (constant buzz) and also other hearing damage from 20 years working in/around computer rooms and especially riding motorcycles at speeds generating more noise than a 747 engine. I expect others will hear easier. The wood desk and all the other electronics and batteries piled around and above it DID NOT stop it from beeping.4. I can not test range. My house is not big and has lots of places the sound would be redirected/blocked becoming more muffled with each turn. The beeping only lasts about 3 seconds. Outside the traffic and other world noise would drown it out. This testing therefore would require two people, one with the transmitter to initiate beeping and another with the device to hear it. I live alone.4. I will probably add to my key chain but that will require I walk around with the transmitter to cause the assigned receiver to beep and again getting in the CR2032 I find difficult. My remote should never be more than 10 feet from where I am sitting at this moment.

This is easy to set up. I purchased this for an elderly gentleman who kept misplacing items. I have placed one in his wallet, on his key fob with house keys, taped one to each TV remote, and taped one to a garage door opener. He has misplaced each of these items, and we were able to locate each of these items. This has been well worth the money because it has saved us so much time where we would be searching for these items. This comes with all the batteries that you will need for the first set-up. I highly recommend this item.

I love this handy finder! It works every time! The beep that emits from it is just loud enough to hear what you are looking for.They offer metal rings to attach the little tag that attaches to your object that you want to find. If there isn't anything for the ring to hold on to, there is a double-sided tape that the include in the package. However, this tape is weak and and the tag is large and too heavy and so it falls off with very little help, so you can end up losing the tag way too easily. This is the reason I gave it a 4-star as opposed to the 5.I would love to see the tag be a bit smaller and the two-sided tape stronger for those valuables that have to use the tape as they do not have a hole for the key ring to attach. This would allow the confidence rating to rise and the valuables ability to stay intact with the key tag.
